Seems like im only good to update this thread every 4-5 months haha. ill preface this update by saying,
i know the Camber scene isnt for everyone, but i enjoy doing different things and straying from the norm.
that being said brace yourselves for some ridiculous sized wheels with cool offsets. How big? and what
offsets you ask? 18x12 +0 with 5.5" lip fronts, and 18x12.5 -44 with 7" lips in the rear. Sandwhich mounted
VSXX with gold hardware, valve stems, and chrome faces.ill update with more pics as i have time, this update
will be pic heavy. I also got some Euro R Recaro Seats and a set of Front and Side splitters from Trap Splitters, when i get some decent pics of those ill post em up too. Can i get a Mod to Update the thread title to, "SlowBro 18x12 fronts and 18x12.5 rears." thanks!
Now i know most of you are lookin like leo here, but give me some more time to get her there with the details
and i think most of you will come around. haha

The style originates from Japan. As most know the VIP style is based on the Yakuza large body luxury cars.
As not too many know; the style was made popular by street racers that were trying to avoid heat when police started cracking down on anything that looked like a race car. I believe this was the 90s. So it really isnt that old.
The other end of the scene started taking styling points from the Super Silhouette race cars that were super low and had really aggressive styling. This is where the "oni" camber or demon camber style originated from. It goes as far as the bosozoku look which would get you guys rolling on the floor laughing.

Nah man, the point is to do it with stock metal. Everybody and their mom goes widebody. Who cant fit an 18x12.5 with widebody. So many people still tell me its not doable. Yeah i have to camber her, but i love how it looks. I get a kick from people who say things "cant" be done. Just cuz youre too scared to do it, doesnt mean it cant be done.
Yeah, thats the homie.

here is a pic of the Recaros that i got, not sure if i want to Redo the damage on the passenger seat because im not positive i can find the same fabric.
and this is the only far shot i have of the car before we did the pulling and flaring. Im changing out the tires tomorrow, so maybe tomorrow night ill go shoot with some friends.

Idk how i forgot to mention this, but when you adjust the camber so much it really fucks up the caster settings, like SUPER BAD . so bad that when i drove the car home from my friends house down the street i was legitimately afraid of the wheels rubbing into the car so much so that i swapped out my VSXX for the spare set of GTF's that i have.
Luckily i have some friends that do cool shit all the time and they adapt very quickly. I got some megan arms (which ended up being a perfect fit), and BAM problem solved. In the pic above the top half is the caster before, and the bottom is after the Megan Arms.

Glad that you can appreciate a build even if its not your style. The Megan arms that i used are LS400 tractions rods. They are the same length as the stock arms, the only adjustment i had to make was, making shims because the heim joints that come on the arms are significantly thinner than the stock ones. So when i tried to bolt them in the arms would move from side to side in the bracket. Added some shims and they are snug and feel fine.
