My Photo Thread: The TL - Updated Page 20
So, a while ago I decided I would close my "Progress Thread" because it hit 101 pages, was nearly impossible to find information and progress had stopped.
I haven't done any modding since it was closed...except...my tail lights. Thanks to J for opening them, I had the joy of modding them to my liking, with a little help and opinions from my girlfriend as well.
So, without further ado, I reintroduce myself!
The photos above were taken at Okeeheelee Park here in West Palm Beach, FL.
My reason for the shoot and outing was a large meet at the local Toyota of Palm Beach dealership.
I will include a link to those photos.
Past shoot... (Done on 5/14/13)
The link to rest of the set...
http://www.flickr.com/photos/8774188...7634322271063/
It includes the first set of pics I just posted as well as the rest from the meet at the dealership.
The silver TL with me belongs to Jesse (inactive member on Acurazine, I will try to convince him to logon more as he takes rather nice videos.) And the white TSX is a new friend, Kevin's (not a member here).
Enjoy!!

Thanks everyone!
Chad, the very bottom portion along the V-shape is painted NBP, the other matte grey piece behind it was left alone. Hope that clears it up for JJH too.

I left it grey because it matches the bottom of the A-Spec lip.

It also kinda matches Austin's wheels...
Austin: Polish your stock mufflers. It makes a HUGE difference.

Just a suggestion...
I'll post pics of mine after my tails are installed. Hopefully it'll change your opinion.

Chad, mufflers or the tips?
Mufflers, absolutely not. I keep the tips clean, been a while since they've seen a polish though...

^The mufflers. I can understand the hesitation with stock tips though. That part makes sense.
I nabbed an SI axleback for my our civic and it needed love. So I ended up polishing the part of the muffler that faces the rear and the tip and liked it so much I decided to do mine.
I ended up polishing the entire mufflers though. Honestly, you'd never know the entire system isn't an aftermarket cat back.
It would really set your rear end off. Especially with your color scheme being rather dark.
Edit: Was waaaaaay more work then I thought it would be btw.

All jokes aside your car looks great. You've made good choices.
The only thing I'd change is debadging... With such good photography skills and the car looking great all the dark badges do is distract me.

What bulbs do you have in your headlights and which switchbacks? Thinking about switching mine out so they're all one color too and like how yours look.
And I like the badges. Makes it look debaged from afar.

Headlights: Morimoto 6000k
Upper Fogs: Cheap 6000k LED's from eBay (do not recommend)
Switchbacks (Current) 48 LED Switchbacks from VLEDS. My Tritons went in for repair about a month ago and are on their way back.
Lower Fogs: 6000k HID from HIDEXTRA.com
Cazio asked me about getting HID's and LED's to match a few months ago and I recommended getting 5000k HID's and 6000k LED's (so they are all pure white) and he bit the bullet and took my advice, and everything matches! If that's what you're also going for, see his thread.

Austin, amazing shots as always..nooot
It got better
Who gave the idea of red on the tails
Jeremy, I am bringing my tails with me on Friday
Austin, is that silver slammed? Any threads left?
Wish you were able to go lower, without losing the front/back matching.
Rear slammed, front 2 threads right?
