Yeah that's it. Luckily the bumper nor taillights were damaged.

Buddy, I'm so sorry to see this. They are taking care of the fix, yes?

As of right now I'm not sure who's paying. My coworker was driving a company vehicle, so I'm not sure if he's personally held liable or if the dealership is. The TL hasn't moved since Saturday and won't be until I figure out who's paying.
My general manager is out of town but is aware of the situation. I'm just waiting to see what he says.

I have no clue
Sad thing is that I was parked in the middle of nowhere. This was also the one day that I didn't park in my normal spot

After nearly 7 weeks, the car is finally on its way to the body shop. What a fuggin hassle.
I'm also pleased to announce that I'm a homeowner! This was the "big" thing that I mentioned earlier in the thread
Here's the thread if you want to see more and keep track of our progress: https://acurazine.com/forums/home-ga...-house-928444/
I'm VERY excited to finally have a garage!

Thanks everyone
The house was actually built in 1991! The previous owners took great care of it. We are still changing some things here and there though
I have no idea how long the repair on the TL will take. I would guess at least a week

I feel like I've spent more time at Lowe's than the actual house recently
It's really exciting but we are trying to find a good balance of enjoying the house for what it is and customizing it to truly make it our own. A lot of the big stuff is done, but the little stuff really adds up and takes forever. I was in the garage ALL afternoon and I still feel like nothing was accomplished
Still no updates on the TL I really hope this doesn't take too long. I finally have a garage to store my car and now I don't have the car
TBT to when the TL was still operable. Big thanks to Undying Dreams for this picture; certainly one of my favorites.

I'm too lazy to link it here. They can go to the house thread since it's more relevant there!

Thank you! I'm really hoping to have the back within a week, but we'll see what happens. To be honest, I've gone so long without it now that I sort of want a new car

I wish we could trade shop turnover times. The Passat has been in for less than a week and it's already ready. I don't want to give up satellite radio.

Ehh, sorry to hear the TL's repair has taken so long. I'd be livid. At least your loaners haven't been complete piles.
Oooh. Such as? IS F-Sport?
This. I was 15 when I joined this place. Turn 22 soon.

After 70 days, the TL has returned! Now it's garage kept too
Before:
After:
The original plan was to cut out the damaged fender and weld in a new replacement, but the shop was able to push out the original fender and smooth it down.
Hooray for a garage! (pardon the mess)
I've been driving various Lexus vehicles for over two months so needless to say the TL felt weird yesterday
The steering was heavy, the exhaust was loud, and I didn't exactly miss swerving around potholes. However, it's great to have it back! It's like having the new car feeling without car payments I do miss the ventilated seats, XM, and back up camera though.
Craig, IS350 F-Sport would be ideal, but I can't justify it with the house purchase. Maybe in a year or two!
