Also you know what made a huge difference in my garage is the wall cabinets. I couldnt afford new garage type ones so i keep my eye out on Craigslist for used ones (could even be kitchen type ones). I dont have many pictures of it but in this picture you can see it in the background.

Make a huge difference with storage and looks. Stores plenty of stuff but keeps the mess hidden and still leaves the space underneath usable. Highly recommended.

Oh lastly i use the crap out of these thingys. Got 2 of them mounted in the garage.

BTW, thats a hefty compressor you got there....is it pretty loud?

Actually i'm thinking of taking some pics this weekend and starting a garage pics thread so poeple can share their before & afters, ideas, etc. Of course with a 3G in the picture to comply with the requirements, haha. I would assume its probably been done before but wouldn't hurt to revive it.

Extremely loud...
I actually thought about cabinets but as it stands, the house had built in shelving that I am not even filling up!

Damn! I need to get my garage floor, shelves, cabinets, etc started! After wedding I guess. I'm just happy to have a garage to park in. Will definetly turn to you two (J & Mas) for any questions regarding those upgrades!

Here is Roger's garage project.......bump it if needed!

I like the insulated garage doors idea-I might need to do that.

I also got the shelving from Sam's Club (cabinets with the doors). The enclosed doors make a HUGE difference, guys! I've also got one small wall units too. I'm thinking about getting some more.

EL BAN, for sure we'll get together soon.

Wow, didnt know that garage thread even existed. I think a simpler thread for us mere mortals would be cool. Gonna take some pjcs this weekend and hopefully start it on Sunday or Monday. Reality is whatever your garage may be (for me before the house it was the apartment parking lot) the space you use to do your mods means a lot. We are creating experiences and memories there that we will remember for a very long time. Lets show each other where we get our stuff done.

bro...that garage door tensioner spring looks like it's fkng loaded down at maximum effing torque. Please don't ever try and touch that thing yourself.

Yeah, I concur...be awesome to document the changes. If I piece it together I'd be able to too. Shit...the attic fan wire was romex run through the scuttle hole and you had a set of wire nuts to plug it in with lamp wiring. Ghetttoooo...

I need attic ladder, insulation, probably window tint on garage window and new ballasts on my 8 foot fluorescents and I'll be good for a while.

Get a bunch of pics now for the before. I'm gonna take a bunch tomorrow. Btw, I put the "frosted laminate" on the windows and garage door glasses so natural light comes in but no one can see my stuff.

Well, my window is on the side, but that's a great idea. I might go with the one that offers heat rejection too though.

Cant really hear the whine to well though. I shouldve driven a little further from the camera but still within view. Pretty funny when the other car appears.

^^Thx man, the ATLP does sound pretty mean huh. Thats PCDs + factory J-pipe + Hi-flow cat + Vibrant ultra quiet resonator + resonated ATLP Base. I played with it for years until i finally ended up with the perfect sound. I've been through j-pipes, resonators, test pipes, no cats, some cats, haha.

Now its not too loud, not too quiet, no drone, deep rumble, crazy WOT.

^Oh i thought it was turbo. My buddys got a Mini and its turbo. Did they switch form S/C to Turbo (or vice versa) at some point? Did you do any of the mods to make the whine louder??...i would imagine factory they try to quite it down a bit.

RV6 V3.....got rid of it because i needed to be able to put a 3rd cat in because it was so loud with PCDs. Power gain was also neglegible.

Jeez...housing prices are better up by you!
That would probably be a $400K house down here.

I'm happy with ours though...it's been good to us!

Yeah i would think prices up here are a bit cheaper. Of course with all of the changes in real estate a house like that has gone for as high as $450k and as low as $200k (depending on what year you bought it). Crazy last 10 yrs.

So cheap. That would be at least a $750,000 house here in SoCal. Not joking
