Low mile TLs FTW! And the warning is my oil change that is almost due. I'll be changing it in the next few days. Maybe the cabin air filter too. I've yet to change that, so I'm sure it needs it. I just need to figure out how.

Thanks man. Prices were all over the place for the installation. Most places wanted $300 - $400, but I found a shop that does it for $175, so I went with them. Will be going back to have the coilovers put in. Will probably just have them toss on the RSB and camber kit as well.

Can't wait to see the way it sits

Can't get too excited about the way it'll be sitting unfortunately...gotta put it in winter mode for the next few months
So stance will look ok, but nothing extreme for now. On the positive side, tomorrow my car will have Tein SA, Progress RSB, RV6 Strut Bar, Ingalls rear camber kit (maybe), and Stage 3 exhaust (maybe)!

Thanks!
I'm excited too! It won't be low, but it should still look nice. And I can't wait to hear the exhaust and feel the difference the RSB makes!
They have the car until tomorrow afternoon, so it should be just fine I'm thinking. I may or may not have them do the exhaust work depending on what they want to charge me. I was going to find an exhaust shop to do it, but if they charge me a reasonable amount I'll just have them get it done with.
Thanks man! I know you've been real happy with your Teins, I'm looking forward to the same. I love the thought of being able to go into winter mode with probably 2 finger fender gap, then drop it back down in the spring, all while maintaining a comfortable ride!

Sounds good, KJ.
Mine was $150 but that included bringing the tips out a little. Most people say ~$100, possibly more.

Damn....ran into a slight issue on the coilovers. They just called and since the previous owner used the EDFC, I didn't have the click assembly units attached. So they can be installed still, but the damping can't be adjusted without them. So I guess I'm stuck with them whereever they are for now. Not a big deal up front, but annoying for the rear. Guess I'll be taking my back seat out at some point on my own...

Can't they just take the EDFC motor off the coil?
If you're not using EDFC, there should be nothing for it on the coils.

EDFCs are removed from the coils. But this part I guess gets removed when you put the EDFC motor on:

and the seller didn't include these. I didn't realize it until they called me. I emailed the guy I bought it from, hopefully he still has them somewhere and can send my way.

Thanks for making your first or second post ever in here!
Thanks JD! That's a sweet car you picked up there. Nice rare color, and a perfect list of mods and maintenance. Looking forward to seeing your new progress thread!
Getting a little anxious...want to go pick it up!

That little knob you linked looks like the adjustment knob at the top of the coil. Like, no EDFC. You need that to adjust the damping.
I could be wrong though.

Right - thats what I need. The shop called Tein to ask what needed to be done, and sent them a picture of what I had. So I need the part that I linked, and I'll be able to adjust damping since I'm not installing the EDFC. Otherwise, its just set at whatever it was left at.

Not a deal breaker, but would have been nice to know ahead of time. Any EDFC in the BM for now, not an option?
I don't have it either, but in this case, might not be too much more to just get it than have to buy all the other hardware.

Haha, the one I'm selling is in the black market. I got it in a package deal, but I decided I could use the cash more now to fund the install. Now, that is partly backfiring on me, but oh well. Anyone looking to add EDFC to their set up?!
On a side note, everything else is a go. Coils and rsb and front strut bar are already on, stage 3 is underway, and ingalls will go on this afternoon! Lifetime alignment starts tomorrow at FireStone. Glad its a one and done shop, no need to go anywhere else (save the alignments).

No time or light for good pictures, but here are a few I tried to get under a lamp! More to come!
During install:
Love it so far! Need an alignment bad tho, that'll be tomorrow.

Winter mode man! It had to be higher to get thru the snow we get here. I get that it is not the best introduction to my coilovers tho
Exhaust sounds nice. Zero rasp, just a slight growl. I was a little concerned it would be louder, but it came out great. That 24235 resonator must have been the right choice! I don't know much about welding, but the works seems nicely done to me.
Rear sway bar seems nice too, but it was a little hard to get a good feel for it considering it really needed an alignment. But I'm currently sitting at firestone, so shouldn't be long before I can check it out a little better!
Overall, only things that didn't go right were those damping adjustment valves not being there, and the bolts holding on the OEM camber arms were seized. Toe arms went on fine, but there was nothing to do to install the ingalls camber arms. So they ordered the bolts, and I'll have to have those put on later on. At my epic skyscraper height, camber is probably fine anyway.

Glad to be in the club! Once can't wait to get the damping dialed in to my liking. Previous owner kept it between one and six clicks from stiff, I think I'd like a little softer than that.
Thanks man, I love the understated look. Clean without being overdone.
Yea, hopefully some more pics soon. Spacers are the new black anodized Akata spacers from eBay. I messaged the guy on eBay and he gave me a slightly better price

Yeah I'd say camber is fine lol
Start going low and you'll be getting a lot of camber.
Glad you're happy with it!
I'm in for day pics also!
