Ill bite my lip abit. I have those abused wheels because they have potential to look good, I get them at a cheap price and fix them up myself. To be honest if there were flawless axis wheels and fucked up work rims right now for the same price, hell even if the works were more expensive id rather pick them up. all they need is a little TLC next thing you know u have some sexy work rims. I never bashed axis that much, I dont think that they make rank thats all. like I said, here in hawaii its all about work and ame and crap. is what I grew up on. I never ever heard about axis wheels till I joined this site. I was heavy in the s2ki and never heard of axis. it was all about work volk advans and stuff.

Like I said, its your car and do what you want. I have my right to bash whatever I want. The same way you have the right to put whatver you want on your car. I dont care. I just know the foo's on westcoast (including hawaii) got a diff style so I plead to flipside to do it big. Good rims with agressive offsets. In my eyes its beautiful and pushing the limits makes it that much more sexy.

This is kind of funny, I know people that can walk into a mercedes dealer, drop $90k on an AMG benz and not even feel it financially. Thats doing it big
If you have to save up and stash money away just to be able to afford rims then you shouldn't be buying them....just my opinion.

iunooo personally i dont think its worth putting some crazy baller wheels on a car thats only worth like 20k, some people have other expenses in their life and want to get ahead not just stay in debt but have gone through 30 sets of "baller" wheels and have next to nothing in their bank account, dont be bagging on axis saying how it sucks and blah blah when all the wheels you get are abused and have to refinish them, no offense
even if they are "baller" wheels

I've had both Japanese (Advans & Volks) & American (Axis & EXE) made wheels. I chose the wheels that fit the car.
IMO, Axis/EXE has made some very nice wheels and you don't have to wait 6 months to get these wheels.

Dont get me wrong i love my TL and love modding it, but i know my boundaries. You say where your from its all about the baller wheels so i get that you are just getting wheels you knew since you were younger, but you cant go around bagging on other brands just cause you think they suck.

No need to bite your lip say what you want, all I'm saying is that when it all comes down to it i personally don't see the point of getting super duper baller wheels and knowing still your car is just a entry level sedan. Now if i had a piece of german engineering i would love to put some crazy expensive wheels on it because i know my car is top quality and so my wheels need to be top quality.I think my Axis wheels are great for my TL and they may not be your crazy top notch wheels but i still get compliments and broken necks everywhere i go not bragging but the truth is the general public of people dont really know the difference between brands of wheels, its just the truth.

I thought this thread was about SLAMMED TLs... not BALLER wheels...
Y'all should take it to PM or start a thread on the quality differences between multi-piece and monoblock wheels... and how most wheel manufacturers just copy each other's styles...
MORE SLAMMED TLs PLEASE... on what ever wheels and tires you feel like... I personally like the TL slammed ("dirty", as the 808 boys like to refer to it) on stockies or ASPECs...
