I'll stop bugging you about it, I'm guessing it's your gf or wife or something because you never responded about it. But I'll just leave it at "she purrrrdy".

Anyway, proceed with updates and pictures, C'MON!

Well, Sandy Claws treated me right with a unlocked Samsung Galaxy S2 International model, and bravo to those at Samsung. The picture quality is amazing.

See for yourself:

These are un-edited. I only threw them in Photoshop to resize them.

Hope you guys are enjoying the holidays!

I know you've probably posted this before, but what did you do to your headlights to make them so clear?

dang. just so you know, your camera will slowly get terrible. mine started out with practically DSLR shots and now they are so grainy i can't take ANYTHING worth it anymore

you should get a case that covers the lense because i sure wish i did!

i see on the more low stuff. i give you about 4 months until you want to change your setup like me lol

Excellent pictures. Cameras on phones are getting nuts. I'm starting to not take my D60 with me when I go places, because using my 4S is just so much easier. Not to say the quality is the same, but still.

That grille transformed the look of your front end. Love it.

I usually wetsand-polish them yearly.
Here's the guide I use if you're interested:
http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...Step-by-w-Pics)

Then apply NuFinish Wax/Sealant on them from time to time.

I really think the camera makes them look good, though lol

At night when my headlights are on you can see all the rock chips and dots on the lens when you look closely.

Did you upgrade the firmware on your phone?

I noticed that low lighting shots can get really grainy, too.
But outside, the quality is amazing heheh

I'm using the Otterbox Commuter case for it. The case protrudes from the lens a good amount so it won't get scratched when I set it down.
I take good care of my electronics just as much as I take care of my car lol

Thanks buddy!

I'm definitely redoing the grill properly (taking off the bumper) when it gets warmer out, maybe 3 more months haha

I wish I had a DSLR heheh
The can understand using the 4S to take pics; the camera on that phone is beast!

Haha you guys can already tell I'm a huge Meguiar's fan.

Oh yeah, you guys can see I replaced my license plate bracket because the plastic was warped, and faded.

You can see my old license plate bracket on the left of this picture

Looks much better - just more "clean" and refreshed.

GP, I just came across this thread - I was out of town when you originally posted it...as already mentioned...It's about time you made a progress thread!!! Car looks clean as hell, and wrap job looks good!! When you told me you were going to tackle this mod, I just assumed you were gonna take the bumper off and take everything apart first...It's much easier that way. In any case, I have to make it a point to see this car in person this year

Thanks buddy!

I was thinking of taking the bumper off but it was damn cold out and I got lazy haha

My fingers were pretty much frozen even though I was working with a hair dryer in my garage.

I definitely want to redo it sometime when it gets warmer and take off the bumper to do it. Maybe wrap the gray part of the bumper black too, like you did.

Have a good new year everyone!

Okay so today I was heading up the mountain to cruise around showing some visitors around. On my way down the mountain roads, I saw a SUV in the shoulder in like 2 feet of snow.

So guess what I decided to do? I decided to be generous and pull over to check if everyone's okay and if they called a tow truck.

Guess what happened next?
As I was pulling over, I got sucked into the damn shoulder of snow too and got stuck myself.

FFFFUUUUUUUUUU

So then I got out and passengers got out and helped push the car while I was trying to reverse. Tires kept spinning out and VSA just always kicked in. I was stuck pretty damn bad (Not as bad as the SUV though).

Couple cars drive by and tried to shovel out, but no luck. My car was sloped pretty far.

We needed a rope or chain to get it out.

I was seconds away from calling Acura Roadside Assistant until big Dodge Ram came by and asked if I was okay and I asked him if he had a chain or rope to attach to the tow hook.

What do ya know? He did have one!

Hooked it up to my rear tow hook and he pulled me out quickly.

Then he towed the SUV out after.

I asked him how much he wanted and he said nothing but I gave him $20.

Things went better than expected =)

I'm gonna have to wash the car tommorow but I don't see any damages...

My whole passenger side was in the snow though and you can see the line.
Close to a half a foot up the doors.

I've never had anything happen as I'm a ery cautious driver.

Lesson learned: Don't pull over to help someone and if I do just stay on the road and roll down my window beside them.

I'll see if I can get some pics off my visitors who took a few pictures of the car in the ditch.

Picture my car kinda like this:

Except not as far into the ditch and not as deep.

Here are the pictures taken from their tablet:

SUV:

You can kinda see the tracks where I slid in ^^^^

Pic taken from inside their car:

I was so overwelmed but so calm that I didn't take pictures and only focused on how to get out.

Never knew they took pictures of my car either lol

I guess I was going too fast when I pulled over. Lessons learned.

i personally think VSA is a POS. i can't leave my driveway with it on because i get no traction, but can with it off myself.

i put my TL into a ditch 3 times last winter thanks to the crappy tires, always lucky enough to have a truck come within 1 minute, even at 5:15 am !!!!!

Thankfully it was just snow. What if there was a huge ass rock or boulder in the snow yikes!

I should have tried turning off VSA!
I'm pretty sure I was stuck for good though due to the angle my car was at and gravity haha
If only it were a AWD haha

Do you experience any damages when you get stuck in a ditch or no?

Thanks swoosh!

There's no visual damage I can see to the bumper or anything - it was just deep snow LOL

The only thing I'm afraid that went "a little" out of place was my passenger side accord fog. Nothing major I hope nothing mechanical hit the snow.

Yeah VSA can be more of a hindrance than a help sometimes. I usually have to turn it off when I go up my driveway in the winter, or throttle is cut off and I just start sliding into the grass.

Ah haha

Do you guys spot any damage?

I don't spot any damages but the fact that half the car was in the ditch still haunts me =(

Your passenger front tire...the toe is out...looks like you might need a whole new lower control arm.

AND there's some tire shine missing on part of the tire.
