Thought it was about time to join the forums. I was driving a 04 RSX Type-s for about 5 months and then it got totaled in a accident. (Wasn't my fault) But I got out of it pretty well with enough to pay off the RSX and enough for a good down payment on my 08 TL Type-s. Some of the Mods that I did on the TL are:
Body kit on Sides and Rear (front end bumper cover replaced)
Blacked out roof
Some rear decals removed
Resonator delete
Window Visors
Interior LED's
Black door edge protectors...

Sorry about the accident, congrats on the new ride, and Damn I keep seeing that MRP and I love it more and more. Black roof sets it off nice too.
Evil, That's how I got the car. I'm guessing the guy that had it before me was in a front end accident and didn't want to pay to get the lip back on. I've been thinking about getting the front A-Spec lip to put on but I want to replace that front bumper first.
Congrats on the purchase! I like that black roof actually! Even though the car has the wrong front bumper on, that means you can install a base aspec kit which IMO would look perfect!! I would peel off that black door edge stuff, but thats just me.
BTW, its not that the previous owner didnt pay to have a lip put back on, because the Type S does not have a lip, it has an entirely different front bumper. Like I said before though you have the perfect opportunity to go with the base aspec kit which would look sooooo good on your car.

Get the 04-06 front Aspec.
It's the nicest looking one. Something about the facelift lips look so fake and ricey.

07-08 base aspec looks better and will fit perfectly. The only aspec kit that's a little over the top is the Type S front bumper kit. That's either love it or hate it, but 07-08 base aspec front bumper looks great, especially on a Type S.

What tint level is the factory rear windshield? I think im just going to match that all around
I'm looking to do the same upgrade, i currently have an 04 base rsx imma keep it, and I'm looking to buy a 07-08 tl-s in silver black or white, mind if i ask how u paid and how many miles when u got it?
