Hey esoluki, can you take more pics all around of your car. I right on the border between doing this. I went out and bought all the supplies needed, but I can't force myself to do it yet!

XRVMAN, I can get you the exact code later tonight, but it's just called flat black and you can pick it up at any place like autozone, advance auto parts, or online.

did mine to, i used duplicolor wheel paint in gunmetal from schucks, where i work. 2 cans did the trick and i used index cards wedges inbetween lip and tire so no overspray haha

looks great!

i did the same thing as well. Bronze on NBP, however. Camera is a little bit off so it doesn't quite look like bronze.

Make sure to use a coat of primer and then a 2-3 coats of your choice of duplicolor high performance wheel paint and then a coat of clearcoat so that brake dust is easily removed.

OK, i have a NBP 04 TL with horrible scratches on the RIMS (Not from me!!)

I wouldn't mind doing this mod especially for how much it costs and the great appearance it has.
First of all, what methods did you take?
Did you leave your wheels on or take em off?
If you took em off, what did you use to keep your car up? stands?

Also, I'm assuming when you mean 4 coats, you sprayed first layer, dry, then second, till fourth time?

Sorry for asking so much questions but I really appreciate your time to answer.

I really think painted OEM stockies really make the TL.
It doesn't look that nice on some other cars but when you do it on a TL, it looks super sexy.

i did mine about a month ago.
1. take wheels off.
2. clean wheels, sand wheels down a little, clean again
3. mask the tires so the paint dont get on the tires.
4. 1 coat of primer, 2 coats of your choice of color, 2 coats of clear coat( or shinny coat).

i did 2 wheels at a time because i only have 2 jack stands.
