I actually edged up to it on purpose to see how close it would be. I think it's probably 1-2mm from touching haha.

Tyler, you ain't paranoid about curbs even one friggin bit! You pull up to it and over it and THEN you decide you're too close for being lowered...

ebelp, what a great progress thread. Gorgeous car and so tastefully modded...was funny to see you start with "don't care about tucking tire" to what you got goin now. ALSO in for the moar bright ambers...

Thanks! Yeah, thanks to this site I've grown to appreciate the look of a slammed TL and after I mounted my Works for the first time, I wanted to be able to tweak the ride height.

The next step is a good front/rear camber kit. My tire wear was bad enough with the Supercup kit...now that I'm another inch lower, I'm expecting it to be even worse.

Thanks! I've always been a fan of Kumho tires. I only had the pictured tires on for a couple weeks since I took them off for the winter, so I don't have a really good review to give, but I did notice that they're much quieter than the BFG's on my stock wheels.

I think it was in the 30's...not too bad for NY in in February, but not exactly warm. Under Armor FTW.

Yeah, my TL is a lovely shade of brown right now and I can't wash it because my doors will be frozen shut the next morning.

Thanks...I don't mind driving in the winter, I just don't like not being able to wash all the salt and grime off. It's going to get up to 40 degrees tomorrow, so I may try to rinse my car off, but it's guaranteed that my doors and windows will be frozen shut in the morning.

That's actually just the rear kit. I had some Amazon gift cards that I used for them, but didn't have enough for the front kit hehe. I'll pick that up eventually. My rear tires are wearing reeeeally bad though. Ironically, all the Hondas I've lowered in the past have always only had uneven wear on the front tires, but it's the opposite with my TL.

Spent last week in Vietnam to go to a wedding and for a short vacation with the wifey and some coworkers. HCMC is a great place for food, shopping and night life. Spent most of the trip in Mui Ne on the beach though. As you'll see, I love taking pictures of all the good food I get to eat. Here goes...

Pre-flight cocktail...to those who care, the United lounge in Chicago sucks compared to Hong Kong

Layover snack in Hong Kong, beef & kimchi hotpot:

Seaweed salad w/ marinated snail:

Spotted a Hello Kitty airplane LOL:

Dinner with friends:

I ate pho for breakfast (and sometimes lunch) every day I was in Vietnam:

View from the hotel in HCMC:

Random street view:

Saigon Square:

Ben Thanh market:

Spring rolls:

Traffic (it would be ten times worse than this depending on when/where you were):

Crazy salad:

Thongs and kite surfers:

Flaming coconut prawn:

Lounge club:

Gucci:

Windows pants??

Squid salad:

Dragonfruit juice:

Great to be back in the Central NY weather!

All of the above are iPhone pics....I'll try to post the shots from my D90 soon...
