Alright, the heat has worn me down but I can push through this for whats coming up next. Haven't done anything major except for a radiator fluid change and oil.
Some nice stuff I saw recently.
Cars and coffee the other day. Prefer the Brooklands TBH but this is a very cool car.
Saw my future ride at Jody Wilkinson Acura.
Bought the intake manifold from 04 TL 04 and the chassis brace from Skier4lyfe303. Hopefully I'm going to try polishing the intake manifold and not lose power and put the chassis brace on without it grinding on the ground.
And what is this left on my doorstep? Hmmmm
Awwww yissss! 2 freaking years of waiting!!!! FINALLY!

Wonderful news everyone.
So the shocks for the rear are the wrong models. One has 5 perches and the other has 2. And the 5 perch model came without perches, bump stop and associated hardware. I've messaged heeltoe's support so hopefully they can get the right components over to me soon. Hopefully before the weekend.

Marcus is the bomb !!! he sure will help you out....

Update: its the front shocks with the issues. Not the rears. The rears are perfect.
I've let Marcus know so fingers crossed that it can be done before the weekend or else I'm just gonna have to chill and wait for next week.
Also whats weird is one of the front shock is a sport and the other is an SP3. The rears are sports. I know there's a difference in valving but I'm not sure if that affects anything negatively with these springs.

That's weird, but glad you figured out what was going on.

So as far as updates go, the front left was the incorrect product and will be replaced. Heeltoe was great as usual about having a replacement sent so it will be here by the end of Friday today. Overnight shipping FTW!
Bolted the subframe brace in and felt a slight difference in turn in. The biggest difference is that there is no correction in the turning arc. Feels more consistent. Its not a huge change for the better. Now the downsides so far are increase vibration through the floor board. Its not a good vibration in the sense that it gives a better feel for the road but vibrations from the motor. It's probably because the stock J-pipe has a metal piece that makes contact with the brace. Will have to file that down soon.
For the price its listed at brand new I wouldn't suggest it but that's just me. The most flex I feel is when the car is driven across an uneven surface and the wheel comes close to lifting off the ground. The weather strip on the doors make sounds so the flex I want to eliminate is along the length of the car. It would probably make a better difference if all the bracing was done at once. I couldn't beat the price I bought it for so its still a good purchase.
Rear seats are out and car is ready to be worked on. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.

Weekend ended up being tiring. Was a pretty easy job once I figured out what needed to be done.
Thanks to the threads listed below it left very little to be figured out.
DIY: HT-Spec Coilver Install for Dummies! (or any other suspension!) 3G Garage #D-091
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/diy-ht-spec-coilver-install-dummies-any-other-suspension-3g-garage-d-091-a-816065/
D.I.Y. Relaxing your suspension bushings
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/d-i-y-relaxing-your-suspension-bushings-887486/
I did do things a little differently.
Compressing the spring was pretty straightforward.
Once the top hat was off, the race springs were a particular pain since they do not have enough space for the compressors to go in or out.
So the first one had the compressors stuck in them after the top hat was put back on. I scratched that one up pretty bad. Might not be able to tell from the pics.
For the front right I decided to compress the spring on the car. I placed a jack under the lower control arm and put the top hat in place then raised it just enough for the shock to push the threaded portion through the top hat and put the retaining nut on. Then I used a drill to tighten it up and then tightened by hand after that. Was quick and easy.
The rears were really easy since i just pushed on the springs and threw the retaining bolt on and hand tightened after.
Also to make place to take the stock shocks out I unbolted the mounting point for the sway bar and any hardware attached to that. That's all I needed to take off and it made enough place.
Brake line at the top of my hand and wheel speed senor in my palm. That's the stuff that needs to be disconnected from the mounting point.
Ended up being time consuming but easy.
Review:
Neuspeed Super Cup Kit
As far as the review goes the ride feels pretty good tbh. Its stiff and because the dampening is set to soft it bounces around. Especially the rear. The front is really great setup soft when on the street. The rear, not so much.
The suspension has FANTASTIC compliance. It's setup perfectly for undulating roads. To put it simply it does better the faster you're going. Don't get me wrong this isn't going to help a TL win the Baja 1000 but on rough roads there's no fear of the car getting kicked around cause its too stiffly sprung.
On rough road obstacles like potholes or lifted sections of the road you will feel the hit. I can't say it feels like stock but its not shockingly bad. If you have bad roads though don't bother. You'll hate your life. Or just get coilover's where you can adjust the spring rates.
For SLC its perfect. The car does understeer now. Partly cause the rears are too soft and partly cause the toe angles are going to be off being lowered this much. The camber might be close to 2 degrees now but I'll know for sure this weekend when its aligned.
That's pretty much what I thought would happen on the freeway.
But what actually happned

not much....my suspension was sooo stiff that I prolly didnt feel much for a difference....there were enough vibrations coming through from solid motor mounts and the stiff suspension to notice anything LOL

Lol fair enough. I want it to be a nice GT car so I'm trying to be really selective and careful. I got the rear seats setup so that I can just used the clips to pull them off and 2 10mm bolts to go lighter and have more space for tires when I go to autocross events

Let this be a lesson. Don't hammer anything unless you're sure you have replacement parts and a contingency plan.
Toe bolts froze. Thought I could solve it by trying to free it up and replace the bolts. Tried using a good 'ol hammer to knock it out and it bent the shaft. Couldn't thread anything back in to have an operational car till the parts got here. Now this is how she sits.
Scariest experience with an angle grinder but it got the job done. Barely.

Well all was done a while back. Got to run the car in an autocross event. Unfortunately my toe was zero'd out so the turn in was not great and the track was extremely tight. Tighter than it should've been considering everyone hated the layout.
Had to go full soft on the front and full stiff on the rear to get no understeer. I'll have to change the alignment for summer next year. The sway bar's beauty has been diminished. The rear really keeps it together but definitely killed my turn in. Also the lack of caster on exacerbated my understeer. And the tires didn't help either. So mods for next year would be the solid offset LCA bushing to get more caster, better wider tires, 245's and slicks if I really want to be competitive.
I'll post a video of the run soon.
