Gnuts Pic Thread
Thought i'd share some of the nice detail work of WesR. He has a bunch of pics that really show his work better. Maybe he'll post a few here. I recently put on Teins (in my driveway! great DIY), and painted my mudguards. I'm still playing with the height, once the weather is nicer and i put my 19s on i'll settle the height.
Before teins (on tanabe NFs) - notice the reverse rake.
After teins, before detail:
After Detail:
I have a WW lip primed and ready to start test fitting. Not sure if i'll end up putting it on. Also going to upgrades the brakes this summer, but other then that, this is how she'll stay for a while. Comments welcome.

Thanks for the comments...these pics don't do the car justice. It's really like a mirror.
Sorry Miro, i had to jump on these teins when they came up for sale.
The Tanabe's were exactly the same feeling as stock (i had stock shocks). I just found that they didn't sit right on my 6speed. I bet they'd look much better on an auto CL as they are heavier up front.

True, was it a moderate drop? Even worth buying? lol I ask because I can pick up a set for like $100 bucks, or should I just save and get Teins?

Depends on what you like i guess. I didn't like it just because the front sat high - again i think it's because i'm a 6speed. It is a very moderate drop. I think it's rated around 1.1"F 0.5"R. My opinion would be to save for something a bit lower.

Ya it cost $0...WesR was nice enough to run a contest on this site back before xmas...it was for a free detail. It was very generous of him and he sacraficed a nice Saturday night and Sunday to do it! So i have to give a big thank you to Wes! Check out more of his work in the Wash & Wax section. He does great work.
Your NBP will look amazing after SG!
Teins are great. It's fun playing with the height. The ride is just as comfy as my last setup. Again once the summer rims are on i'll be adjusting it some more. Thanks for the compliments everyone.

I'm gonna post pics hopefully tonight, the write up though is gonna have to wait cause those things take me like a trillions hours to resize the pics from RAW then upload to Photobucket, and finally explain the process in the pics.
Gnuts is the best to cause I sort of didn't do it for free, he brought over a $40 gift certificate for Baby's R Us for our 2nd baby we're expecting in August. How did you like the cookies my wife sent you Brah.

Oh yeah and not to take away from the moment but it came out to be around 92-95% perfected(if I threw in some wetsanding and 2 or 3 more extra days then we could have gotten alot closer to 100%).
I just don't want to seem more than I really am, none the less Gnut's car looks a million times better then before.

Haha, ya i'm busted. Not many people think a small white guy is going to come out of a car playing WuTang and Mobb Deep! But that's what i was listening to back then, and i still love it.
Cookies were great man, thanks! Took them for lunch the next day. And when did you snap a photo of my face?!?! That was me when i first laid eyes on the new detail !
