Two of the rarest production cars in recent existence
....sit in my driveway.
RLX Sport Hybrid production can't be more than 500 at this point even with 2016s being delivered.
CTS-V 6MT wagon production finished with around 540 samples.
Happy to have both.
Wife's new Mommymobile, a 2015 Buick Enclave, sits hidden in the background. S2000 is in the garage, as befits its garage queen status.

Nice choices. I was about to trade my S2000 for a CTS-V M6 wagon, but it sold before I could get to it. So, I traded in my CPO RL and purchased a CPO RLX SH. The power-train warranty expires with 100,000 miles or in 2021. In a few years, maybe I could find a CPO NSX.

How big is your garage and what car(s) have to sit out in the Winter?
As a side note - I would love to get a used Cayman or 370Z or a new MX-5 as a fun summer car but I can't stomach the thought of making my TLX sit out in the crappy Ohio Winter. Paying for Winter storage seems the only option but it all adds up to craziness my wife likely won't tolerate!

Gorgeous pics Dr. Bob. Congrats on the new Enclave. Didn't realize you got rid of the Pilot.
Dr. McNutt-I believe he has a two car garage (from other pictures). I have seen pics of S2000/CTS-V in garage, with RLX sitting outside in winter. I assume wife's car is perennial outside as well. Though he has mentioned offsite storage as well.....

2 car garage. During the winter, S2000 is stored off site, CTS-V is garaged, and wife's car is garaged. RLX sits outside and is still washed on a regular basis.
Having the wife's car garaged during the winter a) keeps her happy and b) gives me less work to do in the morning before driving to work.
During the other three seasons, CTS-V and S2000 are garaged, and the other cars sit outside.
I had saved some money to build a third bay to the garage. When I had enough saved, I elected to put it into my son's college fund instead. He'd better appreciate it.

Your Caddy is awesome. Makes me wonder why on Earth the TSX wagon was only available in 4-Cylinder FWD, and without SH-AWD. Whose idea was that? Probably the same guy who came up with the ZDX, which I really wanted to like but IMO was basically a SmartCar on steroids.
A modern Acura wagon with 290HP V-6 and SH-AWD would be a winner.

Certainly a nice idea. But as the TSX was truly the Honda Euro-Accord, SHAWD was not part of the plan. SHAWD was to be an Acura feature and not a Honda feature (with the exception of the LEGEND / RL dual brand flagship). The TSX wagon was the Euro-Accord Estate, and simply re-badged for the Acura offering. It was not intended to be an Acura product so SHAWD was available for the model, The RDX and MDX crossovers got SHAWD for the North American and have all but replaced wagons and even sedans. It is just another example of a muddy situation of the Honda / Acura model sharing.

I the TSX wagon. I'd have one, if not for the shock tower intrusion into the cargo space, was not a good design decision. I was *this* close to closing the deal on one five years ago. My decision not to get a TSX wagon was the start of my path to the V wagon, which has an awesome, well-done cargo space in addition to the supercar-fast drivetrain.
Honda would bring another wagon over if Americans weren't so enamored of their CUV/SUVs.

I had a white 2012 TSX Sport Wagon, before the RLX. It was an awesome car to drive, and I loved the look.....something about wagons.... It was a little underpowered, but it handled like a dream on the optional 18in accessory wheels paired with the Michelin PSS (so nimble).
I really do miss that car, more than I miss the 2012 TL SH-AWD.....something about wagons......
