Haha, yeah right...there's nothing just alright about either of your cars and you know it!
-----------
I finally got my alignment this past weekend. I can't believe I drove almost 700 miles before having it done! That's the downside of working 25 miles from home. Fortunately none of my tires showed uneven wear. I plan to get a rear camber kit later this year but fortunately it doesn't seem to be too out of whack for now.
I was definitely stressing taking my car in though. I was paranoid that the machine was going to leave marks on the lips of my wheels. Fortunately they use a newer Hunter and it doesn't even touch the lips. It's a circle with a rubber lip that rests on the wheel face and the clips on the side go around the tire.
It feels so damn good having all the install and height adjustment issues behind me. It was a major pain in the ass but I definitely learned a lot throughout the process.

I like how they put in "4x4"
Your car looks great with the drop BTW. I think you will be fine with no camber kit on aftermarket wheels. OEM wheels will be a different story though as it will really look sunk in. Don't worry about the tire wear. You will hardly notice it.

Well I finally changed my brake fluid this past weekend. The tool I bought from HF made the job much easier but there is definitely room for improvement. You'll notice a clear tube right near the drain plug...I added that so I could actually see the color of the fluid coming out. There also wasn't the tightest seal as air was entering the tube from various places when the vacuum was created, especially where it connected to the drain plug. It made it look like there was air in the brake lines but that wasn't the case. I ended up ditching the L-shaped piece and just holding the clear tube on the drain plug...made the brake fluid flow out much quicker.
As usual it took me much longer than it should have but the next time will be a lot quicker and easier. I used just barely more than a quart of fluid but could've gotten away with using just one. I figured it was better to flush a little extra rather than not enough.
I'll probably start doing this maintenance item every year rather than every three years like the manual states.
It's a good feeling to have one more "first time" behind me since I had never changed my brake fluid before.

nicely done bronco, i've never seen that tool before. have you noticed any difference in how the brakes perform? or moreso just a better mentality towards your brakes knowing they have fresh fluid?
also, nice paint job on your calipers!

I haven't noticed any difference in the brake feel or performance, but definitely have peace of mind knowing there is fresh fluid in there. I've owned the car for three years now and I'm sure this service wasn't done by the previous owner or during CPO inspection.
The tool I bought is nice because it makes it a one person job and works better than just your basic one man bleeder tool. Hopefully it will last through a few more fluid changes and I can find other uses for it.
Thanks for the compliment on the calipers! It's been a little while since I painted them and they are in need of a some TLC. Not only are they just dirty but the paint has chipped in a few places.

So unfortunately I am on the highway for 50 miles a day M-F. To make matters worse there is construction through a good portion of it. Well the other morning I’m heading to work and it had rained an hour or so earlier. Apparently when it rains, the dirt gets washed into the road and forms a nice big mud puddle. I was in a pack of cars when I hit it and it looked like someone had thrown a gallon of milk on my windshield. Needless to say my car turned filthy in a matter of seconds. I actually couldn’t help but laugh at how dirty it was. Fortunately it was Friday so it only stayed that way for a day, but that was still too long. I didn’t get the best ‘before’ pictures because it rained again later that day and washed some of it off.
It took me a solid two hours to do everything (normally takes no longer than 75 or 90 mins). I was using two buckets like I normally do but I dumped and filled up the rinse bucket a few times. I was also rinsing the washing mit much more often.
As is the norm in central FL though it rained yesterday so she no longer is as clean. I can't wait for the afternoon storms to stop! I haven't gone any longer than 48 hours with a freshly cleaned car in 3-4 months.

Our newest addition...a 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring in Smoky Topaz Metallic with Truffle interior. We traded in my wife's Pilot and love the Ody so far! With baby #2 on the way it was a no brainer. Getting my 2 1/2 year old in and out is so much easier, especially for my wife. The RES should come in very handy as well!

^^^Thanks man!
I have no issues with the ride, but that is a subjective area. I like the firmness of the Tein SA (have them set pretty stiff) and am so used to the 20's I don't remember what it felt like with the 19's (and have never experienced anything smaller on the TL). I also live in FL where the roads are in good condition so that plays a part. I prefer to feel more connected to the road and this setup does just that.

Thanks!
Couldn't agree more! I saw a report a couple weeks ago about how unsafe minivans are because they generally are built on a car frame that's not made to support the weight of the van and everything in it. Fortunately the only one that passed with flying colors was the Ody.
Aside from being safe it's just practical in every way. I can easily take the family and dogs on a road trip with room to spare, or fold down some seats and remove others and have a ton of cargo area. Throw in the built in cooling box and RES and we absolutely love it!

Chrome dipped amber bulbs are the way to go so you don't have any color unless you want it. Ebay, usually about $10.
Look good, man...glad you're happy.
Do the hairdryer thing before reinstalling them...trust me.

Looking good!!, i second Rockstar, the chrome dipped bulbs blend in really well. The only thing i found is that they are a bit on the dim side.
A friend of mine used led bulbs are they were too bright lol choices, choices.
