I am going to have to start a build thread with more photos but give you guys a chance to see the work in progress. This was only a test fit. I refuse to roll 4x4 status. Just waiting for my coils and camber kit to come in.

Newly installed OEM midnight chrome sport grille on stock PMM TL SH-AWD. Highly recommended mod for those who own darker color models. Looks absolutely sick at night.

Nice! Are those HIDs in those fogs? I always had issues with mine misfiring when I had an accord so never put them in TL. Were you able to find something reliable?

Thanks Grigio! They're just halogens from Nokya. For aftermarket HIDs, always get an harness to make sure the ballast startup has enough current. Also had great luck with Morimoto elite kits so far. Installed around 20 kits on MB and BMW's without any issues so far. Just costly compared to the $30 kits out there.

Sweet thanks for the info. I've heard good things about Morimoto as well so going to order a kit. Did you go with 3five or 5five? I belive it's just the matter of 35w vs 55w. Not sure how well higher voltage works out on TL though

I always just went with the 35w ballast. You do get a little more light output from the 55w ballast, but the life of the ballast and especially the bulbs wear out much quicker. Also in a small fog housing like our TL's, the 55w runs hotter as well. So just another thing to consider.

My guess is a big misjudgement in tire size. The TL should never have that much gap when using a proper tire size. My guess is the speedo will be off by a lot.

i dont think stretched tires were necessary for those vsxx.. it looks like it fits right under there with a bit of room for wider tires.

I love gold wheels. Makes any car stand out more. It will look sick once it's dropped. Maybe could be the lighting but it does look excessively high.

Thanks guys. Yeah it came with the tires for a steal I couldn't pass up. It does look pretty high. Rears are 255/30/20 fronts are 235/30/20. Specs are 20x9 +19 and 20x10.5 +25. And the tires look like they will sit perfect once dropped.

If they were 35 series they would look a lot better at that height but it's gonna be dropped real soon. Also buying camber kit just to make it perfect. I don't roll around like this lol.

Where's the project? A complete new car off the showroom floor doesn't count as a project.

Haven't road on them at all. 0 miles. Only put on to test fit. I've had TPMS installed and hub rings but won't ride on them until it's lowered. Been in the scene a long time and everyone knows my TSX. Have a reputation to keep haha. All my cars have been lowered except my '78 Cadillac Coupe Deville.

In the pictures the wheels are only on 1 side. Stocks on the other.

Oh, that's why it's sitting so high. Perfect tire size for the rear. +25 will fit great with rolled fenders and a bit of neg camber.

The fronts will be sunk in a bit, however.

I'll be adding a 5mm spacer to the front so it should be prefect. I'll post an update as soon as the coils come in.

30 series tires are too skinny for my taste. However, it does not look that bad in the pic. Your speedo will read a bit faster than indicated.

i had the exact same tire set up with except my front wheels being half an inch bigger and +12 instead of +19.. did not like the 235/30.. rode like shit and fitment was not great.. the tires actually was tucked inside the wheel with about half an inch gap to play with.. you should have more than half an inch of room.

i moved up to a 255/35/20 in the front, fitment is now better and camber within specs.. since my wheels are wider and lower offset than yours you should not have a problem going 255/35/20 all around.. my rear is almost identical to your 10.5 +25 rear as well and fitment is spot on.

Good to know. After I get it ready to roll. I'll figure out the front tires. They were included and 90% tread so it ain't bad. But I would like to have bigger treads. Only time will tell. Offset is going to be +14 in the front.
