Awesome vid! Definitely looks like fun..haha. There would be no way I'd ever be able to do this, especially with our weather. We are having a high of 82F today.

well this thread has made me a 4G believer when I wasn't for so long.
Now contemplating my next car although getting rid of either MDX or TL would be really difficult for me.

Thank you Grigio and thank you Acurazine.

Easy choice. Keep the Type-S, and get rid of the MDX for an AWD TL

Grigio4G,

You had mentioned that you had your headliner cleaned when you were doing the restoration. I was wondering how you had cleaned it and what materials/solutions you had used to clean the fabric.

There's a Clear Chemical that just whipes it clean... The Ford Dealer used it on my almost white one in my f150 and took out every spec of dirt and greasey hand prints from getting my sunroof replaced... Their stuff was from Auto Magic... Would love to know the actual name of it...

When we were trading in our Tahoe, it had a light gray headliner and I used that Tuff Stuff spray foam, it's made for carpet spots, seat stains and vinyl surface cleaner...worked great. Just spray on for like 30-45 seconds and wipe off with a warm damp towel.

Quick update. Still cold and wintery in my parts but been getting ready for spring. Messing around with wheels, deciding wether springs or coils for next purchase, but probably the biggest and exciting news are that I've been assembling a local group of fabricators to piece together Nexson's custom grille.

Thats right I need a group of people to do what he did lol but they are close fiends so we gonna give it a shot over some beers when it gets warmer out. The exciting part is if we master it (stocking up on grills at this point) I'll be able to possibly make some for others. I'll keep you guys updated.

Thank you, yeah i think thats what i'm going to do instead of piecing two oem ones together, seemed like a lot of work. I was going to ask you if you could make one for me, very impressed by your skill level but figured you probably get bugged about it all the time so might as well just roll up the sleeves and give it a try. Those pictures will help out a lot.

Time for hibernation is over! Got a couple quick updates.

Got my rubber in today and also purchased TPMS, hub centric rings and lug nuts. Will be putting my wheels on as soon as those three come in.

Sometime next week I am also ordering tein street advance coils so it wont look like a 4x4 for long.

In another update the custom 09/12 grille is put on hold for now since my main focus is to get the car in great shape for Carlisle. It's a huge perofromace and style auto show in Harrisburgh, PA. I'll be there representing Accurazine and the rest of you fellow 4G owners!

So in the mean time Nexson agreed to paint my factory grille and bumper trim and it should be finished hopefully by this weekend. quick mock up of what it will look like.

Mother nature is toying with my emotions. Got everything in, good to throw the wheels on. It went from almost 60 degrees sunny yesterday to a 25 degrees 2 inches of snow today. Will have to wait a bit til it makes up its mind. Next post will be with new shoes on

Thanks man I see you got a set of niche wheels. I'm torn between a set of niches and TSW it's a hard choice but see you at the show.
