'10 AWD 18: wheels on '12 AWD
i always loved the design on the 09-11 awd 18: wheel. i liked it more than the new design on the 12. so i bought a set of 2010 18" sh-awd wheels and put them on my 2012. i think it looks a lot sportier.
and the 2012 stock wheels:

Those red plastic caliper covers really ruin the nice looking car.

I agree love those wheels. I have them on my 2010 TL SH-AWD w/Tech. Don't like the 2012 wheels at all. As for the caliper covers, I do think black or silver would look better. You can probably paint them yourself.

That looks a lot better than red. I wouldn't do caliper covers personally. I assume there are BBK for the 4G's by now? Save a little and invest in that

The blacks look good, but I liked the red ones better. I guess I'm the only one!

Oh yeh, blacks look much better. They compliment the car really well.

Black is better than the red, much better than my rust.

I think RED ones were nicer ...black looks so inconspicuous that you hardly even notice them. I do agree though that with the car being black, calipers kind of blend in. That being said, I would NOT put white calipers on the white color car...for any other color (other than black), RED ones would compliment it much better.

Either get a BBK or leave it stock, don't fake it. But at least the 09-11 rims do look better!

I agree, those rims are so much better than the 12+ AWD 18's. They're on par with the Advanced 19's, an inch less, but less weight, softer ride.
What would be the best way to get a set of those 18's? For Sale threads?

I notice the 2011 tl front caliper has the Acura logo on it. However the 2012+ don't. Did they change the brakes or something or maybe I am seeing things...
I just got a 2012 tl awd advance love the 19in wheel I might get the 18 from 09-11 wheels like u for winter.

2012+ AWD 18's are growing on me but would rather have the 09-11's. Too bad the previous owner put a lot of curb rashes on my wheels.
What would be the best way to buy a set of OEM rims? Black market?
