I have these brakes and functionally they are great but the rust on them is really disappointing. They rust in the holes and a ring between the hub and where the pad does not touch the roter.

Thanks and yeah can't wait for summer. Yes stock calipers for now, I will do a BBK once it's turbo and I track it.

Love the look. I'm picking up a '10 loaded grey TSX w 55K miles, one owner, 4 cyl. Planning the mods ahead of time. (forgestar rims, coil-overs, and your stoptech upgrade)
I really like the euro lights. Could you take a second and educate me? Where to get etc....installation ...
Thank you!

2006 TSX heads are the best k series head with the best air flow. Our TSX come with Vtec on the intake side not on the exhaust side. With the 2006 TSX head swap you get both intake/exhaust (real Vtech). Also CU2 cams are weak and can't produce much power, by adding aggressive cams like drag cartel or skunk2 stage 4 you will add about 80whp all motor. As far as I know there are no aftermarket cams for CU2.

Do you still have control over advancement of the cams? Or are you set with whatever you adjust it to mechanically?

I believe it will be adjusted mechanically. I still need to talk to Vit to figure out the tunning process.

ahhh nice bro, I dig the CF trunk wing.. that's hard to find!
And... Im iffy about the splitter in the back, but I'm thinking Im leaning towards liking it haha
Yeah, that's what sucks about the K20 valve train, you're stuck with one cam angle over the entire range. I can't imagine the drive-ability will be very great. I was discussing this with some co-workers today. I really wonder what drove the final decision to get rid of exhaust side VTEC on the K24. I imagine with full control over the intake side, it allowed for a single exhaust profile that could handle all intake side cam profiles. It would be super cool if we had VTEC on both sides as well as full VTC on exhaust side.

I believe they are different, K24a is a better head with Vtec on intake/exhaust. I was recommend to do a K20A head as well. My friend who's a builder said he can full build the head to make good power.

VTEC just kicked in, yo!
Yeah the K20/24 is a very popular Frankenstein build. In for updates! Would be pretty awesome if you had some numbers before and after boosting the car too to see how much you're making N/A-wise.

This is going to be very interesting... it seems true that the K24a2 will give you the exhaust VTEC lobe, but how will you advance it if the TSX ecu doesn't understand it?
I'm interested in this build. Please explain when you have more answers

That's why I have to talk to Vit. He made a new Si Frankenstein swap. Thanks for the reads I need to gather more information. For sure its not going to be a easy swap.

I was just talking about your build today... did you figure out how the tuning works with the exhaust side cam? How do you advance/retard exhaust side if K24Z never had one?

Yes I did motec is the only tunning solution right now. It's a big deal to change heads and a big head ache. Best thing to do is S/C or Turbo. I have some mods I've been working on 😊 It's not a total slug.

But dat Motec.. I hear VIT rave about it everyday on FB lol. Yeah, honestly seems like a PITD to do what you are doing. But by the end I really wouldn't be surprised if you're doing 235whp on an NA motor. That's pretty sweet!
