I don't really know the exact time frame. HONDATA obviously has other projects in the works. So this would likely not be worked on for weeks and then it may take a couple months to develop it. So I would estimate 3-6 months but I'd have to verify that with HONDATA.

$100 for a deposit is very reasonable! Heck if you can't get 75 people I'm sure a few of us would be willing to put down a $200 deposit...
Since nothing has been worked out with Hondata, I'm going to assume from previous experiences that a year is a reasonable time frame to expect the first run of products to come out.

For people like me running around stock I would like to see a basic power upgrade package with this tuning solution worked up!

Can someone direct me to a good resource where I can get familiar with this tool and exactly how it works? I don't mean general info, I need specific details about how to operate it and how to know what needs to be adjusted...but also on a "Flashpro for dummies" level.

I have never worked with something like this and don't know where to start. I want to get somewhat educated before I start handing out money so I know it's something I will be able to take full advantage of. You gotta start somewhere right!?!?

Some of my questions:
1. Can this be effectively used without a dyno?
2. Is it easy to restore factory settings? And, if you do restore factory settings can a dealer determine you have previously adusted them?
3. Does it increase the chances of damaging your engine or various components?
4. Can you save different mappings and easily choose which one you want for that day/week/etc?

If we're guaranteed a flashpro, I don't think most of us would mind a higher deposit if we don't reach the list amount. I know Hondata is a well reputed company so we should be seeing progress from them. Soon hopefully!

I will have to weigh the costs once we get a final list to determine if this project can move forward. Ideally we'd like 100 people to purchase. But 75 was our goal. Let's just keep working on this list. Let's get some more support. So tell whomever you can because the more on the list the better.

We definitely need more on this list. I would at the very least like to see 50 names, meaning 50 people ready to put a deposit down. Of course more would be ideal but I can move forward with HONDATA once I have 50 committed people.

I didn't see any of this mentioned unless I missed it, but will this affect the warranty in any way? Can Honda/Acura read your ECU and tell it was reflashed? Can your ECU be flashed back to stock and what kind of gains are we looking to see in both the FWD and AWD? I read a brief description on Hondata site and saw that some flashes can be done at the dealer and some ECU's need to be sent out. Where does the 4G stand in regards to this?
