We want to develop a catback exhaust for the 4th gen FWD TL 3.5L to complement our j-pipe lineup and the rest of our Acura exhaust offerings. It will resemble our current 4G TL AWD exhaust, including oval and round tips:







In order to make this available though we need a test fitter in the Phoenix, AZ area who are willing to drop off their vehicle for a few days (probably 3-5 days) In return you will receive an entire catback exhaust at an extreme discount. Include your name and vehicle info and what possible days you have available for drop off. I will then coordinate with the fabricator.

Yes the exhaust is ready for sale. We're just waiting on some final images and specs but here are some images from the fabrication vehicle.

Also who is the manufacture of the rims in the above pick? Where can I get the rear bumper kit trim on the same car?

I didn't supply the wheels or bumper so I'm not sure. Hopefully he will post up here soon.

Just curious....why were you so sure you were not going with ATLP? I'm in the market for a catback system for my 4g FWD....would appreciate all the opinions I can gather especially considering the fact I was going to go with the resonated ATLP system.

I'm looking for a system that has the exterior sounding more aggressive while leaving no drone in the cabin (I commute quite a lot so I'll be hanging around the RPM gauge where most folks will find droning)

Our exhaust is not "drone free", but as karkraze mentioned, there aren't many aftermarket systems that would even come close. If you're looking for something more subdued, I recommend looking into the Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust.

Our exhaust is performance oriented and designed to offer more power and sound. I have had some customers get the resonated version and tell me it is too loud, and other tell me it is still too quiet. It is all a matter of personal preference. I recommend watching as many videos as you can to get an idea of the sound levels.

Thank you for the clarification and the recommendation. I do agree it all comes down to personal preference. I had a poor choice of words in saying "no drone in the cabin" - I guess what I meant was which option would provide the least amount of drone as it is understandable almost every aftermarket system will have some droning.
