Get the current dyno numbers and post them. So, after this tune it will be before and after.

I was thinking of starting from a base tune instead of the current tune. I have no idea how it picked up power up top as all he did was add fuel to the vacuum side of the map. id like to get a base of what I know was ok in order to make sure that nothing is hurt inside the motor/turbo. and this time ill make sure I post a video of everything.

(Smacking lips), man you paid for that dyno tune. They should still have it in their system I'm about 99% sure they do. If you are going to the shop again just upload or have them email your old "264hp" tune. Haven't seen it yet. Here are the current member numbers that I could find on paper. To be honest, your numbers would be nice on here. POST IT UP!

It's just not adding up, RDXturbo07 only had a reflash and ran a 14.3. Hmm.. And I'm hanging with Kpro tuned RSX Type's, Sti's and Evo's full interior.

no reason not to be in low 14s with dyno numbers like those unless the dyno is not calibrated correctly

did I mention that my tuner did not add fuel or spark to the boost map at all?.? only the vacuum map. neither of us knew anything about flash pro when he did the tune.

I do know that I went from 224 to 264. and the difference is 40 so even if I'm off 10-20 because his dyno reads wrong I still went from lo to hi. which in my book is good.

and the best part is I only paid 150$ and this Friday I'm only looking at $100-150 for 2 hours of dyno time. he's been doing some studying and I defiantly have.
the pics are of all the stuff installed on the rdx.

no pic of the water meth because its not installed yet.

Ok, from the dyno tune that you posted it does seem that your power curves are on the lie detector side (Jagged). So, I guess my 260ish hp would be a faster due to the smooth curve I have. InfamousJamous was on a hub dyno, according humble those bump up the numbers. Not sure how true that is. But, you were on a dynojet, so I'm still wondering "what the heck". I think you should be getting free dyno runs, because it seems that you and the dyno tuner are learning together or you are teaching him some stuff. But, haha; you should still be killing RDXrated time at the track (stock weight), because he couldn't have been pushing no more the 212-220hp.

Just trying to figure things out, not trying to give you a hard time. I know my only speed bump was knock from vibration in the engine (cams). Higher octane should take care of that. I'm sure if you guys can achieve a smooth power curves, you should make more power, then you will be the king in the street there in PA. I think I should take a few days off and come up there and race you!!! Lol...

are you guise also data logging?

by providing each other data logs, you all could compare tunes and see where TheWrench needs help with.

How much do RDX'es weigh?
according to the dynos posted above ya'll are at 260ish to the wheels.

Would be a great race between my TL.

Dont sleep on Ecoboost Edge's. especially tuned ones.

I have no way of uploading the logs, I will have to get it next time I go to Humble, but that will be for the upgraded turbo tune. I think we are seating about 3900lbs it's a fat gurl!!

Post up your logs, theWrench!

if we can compare both KenB's and your data logs, we can see where we need to add fuel, spark, timing, etc...

so I wound up making a little more power this time and a lot more torque ill post a pic of the much smoother power curve. latter tonight. funny thing is im the one who tuned the car this time around. but I did a lot of pulls in about an hour of dyno time we made 5 pulls ending with the 5th and it was easy to do. all pulls were made on a dyno jet and using 93oct from hess. used 2 7lbs bags of ice to cool the intercooler. ran the exhaust open after the downpipe. intake temps were from 85 to start to 125 at the end of a pull. best part is $100 for the dyno time and no goofy converter spike im actualy making that kind of power now. I didn't touch the ignition tables. all I did was back off the knock sensitivity a little at a time. did wind up setting boost to 1.950 across the board. and fuel was set to 11.91

so this is why you never stop learning people.

top pic is the first session to the dyno.

second pic is the result of the final spin.

total time invested about 1 week to install everything and then teach myself how to use flashpro. thanks goes out to rob at humble performance for talking to me and kenben350z for pushing. the build will continue next step to blowing up a transmission - _____ - TURBO TIME + water meth = dead transmission... maybe ill be happy for a bit.

Question.....Would these numbers have been possible with stock injectors? Or would the IDC be too high?

so I made a bracket to mount my pump for the water meth injection kit. didn't get to the wiring portion yet, however I don't think it will be an issue.

oh and I should be able to run this the .25 this Friday, September 12, 2014 Street Legal Drags
