Simplyclean 44,

BC coilovers are good set up to go with for that slammed look (take a look at the Photobucket link I posted). They are around $1,000 new. Heel Toe and forum supported sells them. (Mine are sold to another forum member).

I am selling my wheels as well. PM me if you like the look.

definently messed up a sensor that has been confirmed.

ok so the rear bolt moves back and forth some but its seized beyond a certain point. pb all day didn't help, going to cut the bolts and try again.

now to get the twing sound to go away when steering :-(. gonna try to grease it up more.

From my stock of nuts and bolts, but you should be able to get Metric bolts from Orchard or Ace.

1. Remove internal covers to expose top of rear shocks-- Access is through the trunk, use flat screw drive and pry off from the side and not top or bottom
2. Remove nuts completly (Deep 14mm socket)-- If stuck use 4mm allen and 14mm wrench
3. Jack up rear of car/remove wheels
4. Remove bottom shock bolt- 17mm rachet
5. Push body of shock up, move past suspension arm, remove shock
6. Use spring compressor (one inside spring towards center of car, one outside of spring towards the outside of car, see pics), take spring out
7. Remove bump stop 12mm socket with short extension
8. Install BC upper spring perch/height adjuster- Use 1.75 inch bolts instead of stock (I'll ask BC to include in final product)
9. Insert BC spring
10. Install BC shocks, tighten bottom bolt, jack up the suspension, tighen the top nut (BC uses 19mm nut)
11. Install wheels
12. Take car off jacks.

After putting the BCs on and taking them off, I learned that you can do without the spring compressor in step 6 if you slightly loosen the toe adjustment bolt and turn the cam bolt so the lower arm moves toward the center of the car and clears the knuckle. The lower arm will drop fully out of the way. It helps to place a jack underneath the arm so it doesn't fall.

Adjust the cam bolt during reinstallation to get the lower arm to knuckle bolt holes to line up again. A pry bar comes in handy.

For the front sway end links, both should be removed and installed at the same time so the bolt holes line up.

Finished the install on the fronts no problems (except seized sway bar link bolts on one side). Now need some guidance on the rear spring height adjustment installation. So I remove the stock bump stop and then need some help understanding how to install the spring/height adjuster.

Depends on the damper setting. They’re 30 way adjustable. On 1, they ride like an old caddy and feel like they’re underdamped for the spring rate, which aren’t that stiff off the shelf. On 30, they’re definitely stiffer than stock, like uncomfortable on the street. In the 15-20 range feels pretty close to the KYB/Eibach set up I had before the coil overs. 10-15 is pretty streetable/close to stock. I have RMs on the front, but I don’t think the shock dyno curve is any different between the BRs.

LOL. I forget they're adjustable. Sounds great!

Arrow

They have wrenches to adjust the ride height for each strut independently. Then they also have knobs to make each independent strut soft or hard dampening rate. Photo comparisons vs stock and installed photos of everything are available in my thread.
