w00t, just got mine in the mail. First reaction when I picked it up was "Holy shit this thing is light." Cant wait to get it in.. From what I gather in this thread, you have to go to a store to get the gates belts. Can I order it online anywhere? I searched up google but didnt find anything.

Got mine installed on sat. For sure the best mod for the $$ besides headers. Really felt the difference in acceleration in the low end and faster through the powerband. a must have!!

The crank pulley frees up the most hp. The set will get you an additional 2 hp or so over the crank.

Any other vendors have good prices on UR Pulley, and may be either Icebox or AEM? Buddy didn't call me back.

Even if each mod only takes of a few tenths of a second, it can still be the make or break of a race.

Welcome to acurazine! You do realize that you are responding to a 9 year old thread. If you are interested in a lightweight pulley, many on this forum have been using generic knock-offs, as we are dealing with 15 year old cars now. Bomz is one brand that comes up a lot, but you can go on ebay and search honda or acura v6 crank pulley and come up with something. I had one on my 03 type s, and I bought one for my daughter's 00 tlp, but it didn't come with the belt part #s, so I didn't install it. Thanks for resurrecting this thread, as now, I've got some belt numbers to try.

Hey while this thread makes a comeback I have a question, now I have already read the arguments about how safe or unsafe using these pulleys may be and how it might effect the engine in a negitive way, spacificly related to crank shaft vibrations. I've been researching in hopes to put my worries to rest so I can start shopping, I found an article that supports my suspicion that this could be a harmful mod. Basically they talked about the stock pulley having a ruber material inside the pulley to dampen the vibrations from each individual internal combustion durning engine operation. So, my question is, are their any lightweight, underdrive crank pulleys that incorporates some sort or vibration dampening? Thank you for any knowledge, I know it's a big post for a small question but I just wanted to make sure everyone understands what I'm looking for

You should have included your actual car in your research! There's no rubber on our crank pulley and the engine is internally balanced. It's safe to use.

Are you sure? Not to question your advice because if your right, that's good news but from what I can find they refer the balance of the pulley for the j32a2 as an "elastomer" or "dampening" can you tell me what they mean by that?

Ah alright so far the only other site I've found that sells them is 2kRacing idk if anybody has delt with them before. (Link) Acura TL Pulleys I'm just looking for a sleeper mod that will boost my old car's performance and increase it's fuel economy without drawing too much attention before I start putting in more powerful mod's like DC sports headers. I work at a parts store in Canada and trying to find performance mod's is such a pain not nearly as big of a selection or value compared to the States.
