AEM intake vs Injen Intake, are they the same design/shape?
Hey guys, not sure if i posted this in the correct place, maybe performace & mods? But i have a 06 Rl and am considering the aem intake off of the 3g tl/tl-s because along with the simpson strap bracket works on the rl's. Now i've never owned any aem products before even though the guys on the rl side have been using the aem for a while now. I am a big Injen fan as i;ve used their intake before. Now i would like to Know if the injen intake has the same shape and curves as the injen as i do not want to buy the injen intake and it doesnt fit, if it fits the same as the aem i will go for the Injen. pics and thoughts please.

There are a few minor differences in the pipe design between the Injen and AEM CAI. But the major differences are the sound produced by the intakes in the low end and high end (VTEC) rpm range. The most important difference between them is the filters.
AEM has a huge advantage over the others when it comes to filters. Its dry flow filters hold a lot more dirt, last longer and has a 99.8% filtration rate. Most people have also enjoyed the sound made by AEM compared to Fujita & Injen. In the end it comes down to your personal preference.

Do you think air minds the shape of the piping. The Difference between AEM and INJEN is that the AEM comes with a Dryflow filter. What type of difference the dryflow makes, im not sure. Im sure its not that big of a difference. I have a INJEN and couldnt be happier.

reason why i was asking for the shaping is because i want to make sure the intake fits, i know the aem does, so thats why i was inquiring about the Injen, but since Josh said the piping is bigger on the AEM, i am assuming that means more air= better performance.
