Any reason why you didn't stick with the quad tips? There's a lot of free space in the exhaust area of the bumper now.

I thought something was a bit off. I agree with this. Good observation and constructive criticism.

With the supercharger a 4" isn't a bad idea though not totally necessary. I made over 500whp with a little 3" intake pipe into the turbo so don't stress too much if you can't go 4" all the way to the supercharger. The 4" into a taper as close to the throttlebody as possible would be a good idea.

I bet the CL63 was fun. My friend has had a few CL65 AMGs and a Brabus. They're quick stock but put it in dyno mode which among other things removes traction and stability control as well as the full throttle delay and it's a sideways tire smoking machine, a completely different personality and as hard to hold down as some race cars I've driven.

This is what my tool tray looks like on a busy saturday. I have a guy working under me and when i told him to get me a 10mm socket he comes to me 10 min later n tells me he cant find it. Funny. Sad thing about this picture is all this is worth more than the cte supercharger.

I remember when all of my tools were Snap-On. Those are the only way to go when you use them for a living. I loved those tools. I got a $100 a week tool allowance and had to spend it on tools so after several years I had a nice collection. Then one day long after I quit using tools for a living they got stolen. Somehow my Craftsman tools didn't get stolen but most of my Snap-Ons did. I have about 4 of the open end wrenches left, the ones with the little teeth in the open end. Absolutely great wrenches if you were forced to put a lot of torque on the open end but not so great if you were using them on bolts you wanted to keep looking perfect.

I had my tools grouped for a specific job most of the time and as I used them I would set them down on a magnetic tray and they got cleaned and went right back into their place before the next job. I hate not being able to find tools. When I was doing my timing belt I probably looked like a 5yr old throwing a temper tantrum to the neighbors as everything went from organized the first time I did the timing belt to very disorganized by the 3rd time I did the belt.

Anyway, I have a good idea what just that drawer is worth and they're worth every penny IMO. Ironically, all of my Snap-On tools were in a big Craftsman tool box. I figured out I could replace the Craftsman every year and in 10 years I would still have saved money. It turned out to be a good idea because I sat several cars down on my box when I wasn't paying attention lol.

My plan is to reach 350 whp. i think with the right tuner i might get what i want. I want extra tq. I Want extra power. I want too much. Well see. In the future i will go w a underdrive pulley w a 2.95 blower pulley. I have to fab up some kind of aftercooler. Meth injection doesnt peak my intrest. It may one day but who knows. I really need usable power, something that drives smooth.

I hate cars wats up brother. I use to have a sears toolbox back when i was general service. Like we say...no compromise. Go with snap on

Nearly everything on my car is purchased on eBay or made from materials bought on eBay.

Hate to say it but eBay is a tuners Walmart.

And back to OP, I myself would never run boost without water/meth injection again knowing what I know now. Added system "complexity" is nothing for the trade off on increased reliability and performance.

winter is almost up in california and it was bright today. i gathered a bunch of my tools and brought them home. install was a breeze with the right stubby ratcheting wrenchs and mid shallow sockets. everything went smooth and quick because i added bits and pieces at a time before the supercharger went in. im glad the headache is over, now where is my income tax refund.

the battery, it sits in nice. 151R battery.

What's the reason for capping off the P/S pump.... Belt routing or clearance issues?

i got the day off from work. i have to finish up final touches to my supercharger. i have to stretch out the throttle body wire, fill it up with coolant and change the oil. all this this work and the only thing diaster was a broken oil dipstick.... i dont feel comfortable about the harness being split open and extended, it was so perfect out the factory. i will run down to Orielys and pick up some brake parts cleaner and clean up this mess. Cutiing the fan shourd wasnt required but i didnt know that until the ct unit was bolted on and snugged so i cut it for no reason, it looks fine just messy. The starter will hit the base of the supercharger, the 07 type s transmission is huge! i have details and explaintion later right now im enjoying my coffee
