New member! Exhaust questions

Hi all,

I am picking a TL Type S this weekend and have some questions about aftermarket exhaust.

I came from the BMW 135is 1addicts family and had performance exhaust.

The sound was very deep and loud only when it needed to be loud.

Any advise what type of exhaust to recommend? I been looking at the RV6

welcome to the site, XLR8 or ATLP depend on the tone you are looking for.

FYI. RV6 not readily available so be prepared to wait if you want a new one.

OP you have to consider that Honda's engine are higher pitch than BMW's engine. So you may not find anything similar at all. Honestly, you are going to have to search youtube on exhaust systems that may satisfy your ears. RV6, ATLP, XLR8, Endless RPM are some of the top brand around here.

Our exhaust is higher pitched and has a more exotic tone to it. I love the way it sounds compared to your average magnaflow muffler exhaust. Our system is aggressive but has the option of coming with built in resonators to help reduce drone.

Our exhausts are also made from high quality stainless steel and manufactured here in the U.S. (not overseas) for great fitment and quality.

I'd personally say go with XLR8. Sounds great from what I have heard in person. It is the one I am considering. Im going to try the Drynomax resonator with the mid-muffer delete first and wait a while
