Looks like this is discontinued? Not on the site any longer.
Car is an 05 with 89000 miles on it.. I'm more concerned with the belt being 12 years old than the mileage , so I figured it was probably time to have the service done?

Keep checking around though because there are Acura and Honda dealers that run pretty decent specials.

So i just got my timing belt changed from Open Road Acura in East Brunswick NJ, on Route 18. They did a fantastic job, quick with a loaner. Also had the airbag recall done there. I got a quote from Hamilton Honda, which was "timing belt package includes: timing belt, drive belt, water pump and coolant for $649.99 and $125.00 for the tensioner part + install." that they price matched. out the door it was $816 and change for the service, which i thought was a fair price. I told the service manager Richard that there is a huge community on here always looking for reliable people at a competitive price and he said to let Acurazine know to give him a call and mention the forum when talking to him and he'll work with us. He just started there about 6 months ago and is trying to revamp the culture and reputation that was there and he won me over with the service. the two guys id talk to over there are Richard Ritter the service manager and Steve Fasullo the service advisor.

As someone else stated, Hamilton Honda will do the timing belt service for $649.98 plus $125 for the tensioner, cheapest I could find.

From what I can see the "package" that the dealers have quoted don't include the following items that should be replaced when doing the job:
Timing belt adjuster list $130, Timing belt idler $58. So add another $200.

Replacement should include (List Price):
Timing belt $72
Timing belt tensioner $146
Timing belt adjuster $131
Timing belt idler $58
Water pump $171
Anti Freeze $20
Drive belt a good idea $50

Make certain when quoted, the above are replaced. No sense doing all the labor and leaving a couple of old pulleys in place. I also recommend replacement of the 2 PS "O" rings, only @ $3 and the one line is disconnected, so labor might be an additional $10.

A good idea is to have the drive belt tensioner inspected at the same time. When I did mine a few months ago I replaced the drive belt tensioner as it was making a slight noise every once in a while on startup, so easy change.

Turbonut, who do you use to do your timing belt. You seem to know a lot about prices, any thoughts on what a reasonable cost would be for new pads, rotors and brake fluid and what are your thoughts on a reasonable cost for new spark plugs? Thanks,
