New 2005 TSX Owner
Hello from California, I just purchased my first Acura TSX 1G in Graphite Grey on black interior (auto gearbox) from the original owner as a new daily driver and so far love it. The day I purchased it I took it to my friend's shop and changed the oil (synthetic), oil filter, transmission fluid (OEM), air filter, serpentine belt, all pads and rotors, did a 4 wheel alignment, cabin filter, and fixed some odds and ends. I then went home and removed the front license plate, extra floor mats, polished the headlights, replaced the driver side visor (it was sagging) conditioned the seats/all interior leather, installed a BT45-HON3, and a few other items. I have on order the 06-09 steering wheel, LED interior lights, and a few other items. I hope this community is as friendly and useful as the other car communities I have been a part of, happy to be here!

Welcome!
That's a nice looking car, the underspoilers really set it off in my opinion. And that is probably one of my favorite colors on the 1G TSX.
Looks great!

Thanks cu2wagon! Yes I forgot to mention that the original owner had OEM front lip, side skirts, and rear lip installed not long after he purchased it and the paint still looks great. I debated selling them but will keep them on for now and see what I think in a few months.

Also next on the list are likely to be stock 04-05 TL wheels and lowering springs. The car had coilovers on it for most of its life but the original owner kept them so the OEM shocks/struts are still very fresh and I don't need to spend the $$ for adjustable height. Opinions on springs? Looks like Tein, Eibach, or H&R should work well.

I bought Tein Street Advanced Coilovers and love them, but if you're going for springs instead then all three of those are great choices! I can't say which would be better honestly, but I think I've heard that H&R is the most popular brand for our car.

Awesome, thanks for the input! I was looking at the H&R Sports. Yea I read that most TSX owners run the Tien Street Adv and I considered it, but considering the miles on the car and how good the stock still is I figured I'd just save the cash and go for springs, if I want coils down the road I could always upgrade.

Just added a small paint matched lip, what do you guys think? I'm still deciding on it

The lip looks good. I had the same thing on my 2004 TL.
