Hi guys,

Looking at a used TSX in St. Louis and wanted to know if there were any suggestions for good shops/mechanics where I could get a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Doesn't seem like there are that many well known shops here (compared to Chicago!)

What area of STL are you in?

I'm in U-City/Clayton, but willing to go pretty much anywhere in the metro STL area including Chesterfield and St. Charles.

Did a search and seems like the only places that come up are the two dealerships (Mungenast and Frank Leta) and an independent shop "JH Auto" in South County but wondering if people have good experiences here or elsewhere.

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know a particular person there that knows Acuras well? Their expertise seems to be in European makes and Subarus, but for a pre-purchase inspection just trying to cover all the bases and not be shocked later

Just call em and ask. I've taken my CL there when I lived in STL. It's tough because most shops won't touch unless you own.

There is also a Honda Acura Guy down in SOCO who only works on Honda's and Acura's. I will get the info for you by tonight
