Registered. Looking forward to meet all of you e-hooligans!

Oh, and see your cars.

Question about the "stock presentation" category. Is this intended for unmodified cars or cars with modifications that can't be seen? In other words, is it based on how many mods you can get away with while looking completely stock?

Swooshie won't allow the Corvette at the meet. You'll have to argue your point to him......

Register Register Register

Come on guys, lets get registered!

Lets make this meet bigger and better than last years!

Also, tomorrow (5/16) is the deadline to book the host hotel at our group rate of $59/night. Don't count on them having any rooms after tomorrow so sign up ASAP! That weekend is a busy weekend in KC so rooms around the area are scarce.

Please make sure to also register for the meet activities we have planned on Fri night, Sat day, and Sat night. We need an accurate head count to give the places we are going the proper notice.

Register for the activities at the following link:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-HQ...woFdk/viewform

ok, here is the list of activities planned out for the weekend:

Friday June 6th, 6:00 PM
Meet @ HOST Hotel (Address: 7000 W 108th St, Overland Park, KS 66211)
Leave at 6:30 PM

Drive down to Oklahoma Joes in Leawood, KS (Address is: 11723 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 66211) - If you would like to come right to OK Joes, be there between 6:45 - 7 PM

We will then play by the ear and either go for a cruise OR some Ice cream/etc

Saturday June 7th, 10:30 AM
Meet @ HOST Hotel (Address: 7000 W 108th St, Overland Park, KS 66211)
Leave at 11AM

We will cruise down to Buffalo Wild Wings in Olathe, KS (Address is: 12110 S Strang Line Rd, Olathe, KS 66062) - If you would like to come straight to BWW - we will be there by 11:30AM

We will grab some grub there...from there we will hit up Sadlers.

Saturday June 7th, around 2PM
Meet @ Sadlers Go Karting (Address: 325 N Mur-Len Rd, Olathe, KS 66062)

If you would like to meet at Sadlers, we will be there between 1:30-2PM. Lets get all the road rage out in here

Saturday June 7th, 6 PM
Meet @ Parking Lot by Jay Wolfe Acura (Address: 1029 W 103rd St, Kansas City, MO 64114)
Leave at 6:30 PM

We will have a nice and long highway cruise all the way upto Granite City in Kansas City, KS (Address is: 1701 Village W Pkwy, Kansas City, KS 66111) - If you would like to come there directly, we should be there by 7:15-7:30 PM.

We will have some nice food and DRINK RESPONSIBLY. After that we all can either go to Dave and Busters or down to Kansas City's downtown and light up the streets. We will be taking a poll from all the attendees for the places we can hit up after dinner.

FINALLY THE GRAND EVENT.

The car Show...for the 7th straight year hosted and sponsored by Jay Wolfe Acura.

Sunday June 8th , 10AM
Meet @ Jay Wolfe Acura (Address: 1029 W 103rd St, Kansas City, MO 64114)

The meet usually goes on until 2PM. We will be having a Mexican food truck there serving food. We will also be having a DJ with some music. Judges will judge the car on various categories and we will distribute prizes and then we shall await next years meet.

Now a couple pointers and hint:
1> A lot of us hit up Hooters (Address: 10620 Metcalf Ln, Overland Park, KS 66212) right by the host hotel almost every evening of the meet weekend (Saturday and Sunday evenings usually). Its a lot of fun, so keep an eye out

2> Please drink responsibly and if you have had a couple drinks, let the sobers drive. We can always go back and pick your car up. Couple of the organizing folks will NOT be drinking or making sure we stay under the limit so reach out to any of us if you are feeling it...or if you just feel like letting loose and drinking up

3> Highway runs....they are a lot of fun but lets make sure we keep that to a minimum and keep ourselves and most importantly the people around us SAFE !!! So there is no harm is doing a little 60-100mph run with the buddy you have been wanting to run...but let off after that and be safe...KS is particularly bad in handing out tickets and you dont want the fun money go towards a ticket

I would enjoy watching that.
Ky's car runs stock 270bhp / 3010lbs, @ 5psi he's pulling an extra 58 hp.
You're at 2800lbs with a guess of 270bhp? That's a ratio of 9.4lbs/1 for Ky and 10.37lbs/1 for Anil.

Hahaha....he has already beaten me once ....that was before he even had the supercharger on....

We started at 40-45 mph and I got a jump on him being lightweight....he quickly caught up and by the time we hit 95-100 he was half a car ahead of me....

When we ran, I was about 2950 lbs and putting down about 260 (guessing but educated guess) and he was at about 3000lbs and putting Down kind of the same...but he revs up to 8k and the gearing is a lot more aggressive on the nsx....now if we run he will totally destroy me lol

Also I put the rear seats back in but with the lightweight wheels I should be around 3050lbs I think...

Example of mod sheet has been posted in post #4 of this thread. ALL cars being judged will need to be accompanied by a mod sheet to help the judges out. Please bring 2 of them just in case 1 gets lost.

Blower is putting out more than just 58 extra, when I was NA it dyno'd 245 ish at the wheels, similar to when me and Anil raced. My current guess is that it puts out around 320-340whp, so almost a 100hp gain. Then you can add ~15% to canx the drivetrain loss to get bhp.

And Anil got the jump because his gearing is much shorter, once he shifts up I still have a couple grand to go on the tach. At 40 in 2nd I'm well below VTEC engagement.

Also I'd guess my car is below 3000lbs, but prob not by much.

Well, it seems my wife cant get off work early on Friday the 6th. I don't want to miss the BBQ this year. So I guess we will be bringing both Acuras to the show this year. I will come up early in the CL, and Cindi will come up after work on Friday in the TL. I hope this doesn't screw up the folks handling registration. The CL wont be judged and just need a place to park. We will let the judges pick apart the TL in the unmolested, I mean un-modded category.

I will come up early in the CL, and Cindi will come up after work on Friday in the TL. I hope this doesn't screw up the folks handling registration. The CL wont be judged and just need a place to park. We will let the judges pick apart the TL in the unmolested, I mean un-modded category.
Won't screw it up at all, Joe. The more cars the merrier

They are optional if you are not being judged but are recommonded (even if you have no or very few mods) as this also let's people know who's car it is and what you have done. Please bring at least 2 copies of this sheet with you. One should be placed on the car dash so everyone can see it. The second sheet may be needed by the judges to assist in Best in Show judging or if the 1st one is lost.

The mod sheet below is an example what to put. If your mod was self installed by someone else then give them some props like Steven Bell will be putting (SI by Buda or swoosh) next to several of his mods. The SI/DI has no bearing on judging, just info for people looking at your car so you they don't have to ask if you did the install or not. Note that I like split out Aesthetic Mods into non-functional and functional groups. You do not have to do this and can have a single Aesthetic mods grouping.

Example of Mod Sheet:

Car: 2006 Acura TL 5AT NBP/Camel w/ Navi
Acurazine username: Buda
First Name: Sean
From: Olathe, KS

SI = Self Install
DI = Dealer or Shop Installed

Shouldn't a mod log be closer to something you would see in a magazine....?

Exterior
Interior
Brakes
Suspension/bracing
Wheels/tires
Performance

Something like that?
