The 2005 NSX made a pit stop at KC Trends last Friday, now it's going back into hiding until the Acurazine Meet in June! When I drove it back from Trends I almost forgot this baby has only 2300 miles on it.
Hi, just registered. Gonna be coming from Chicago. A number of people on the Chicago Acura group have been talking about going since early April, although not much action has been taken. They've been talking about a caravan over there, but it's still in the works on who's down to go, etc.
Either way, I'll be making the drive there myself if the plans fail, since I'm moving back to the West Coast at the end of June, it'd be nice to come.

I've had friends killed on the Hwy because of idiots going 100+ weaving in and out of traffic and thus causing horrible wrecks. I could care less if the idiot wants to kill themselves, but don't involve innocent people and there families minding their own business on the road.

Yeah, sounds a bit crazy. I know when we cruise I always say lets keep it 5mph over at max but then we end up going 15-20mph over smh. My car is too low to be racing on un-known roads and to danger anyone. A few highway pulls in the open between guys never hurts anyone but we don't need anyone getting tickets or crashing on the way to this event. Keep it clean ppl.

I think this is getting blown out of proportion...I cruised down to Chicago with Alexis and the other chicago guys and it wasnt THAT bad...yes we were doing 85-90mph the entire way...but made multiple stops and overall it was fun...I do 80mph on the highway anyway so it wasnt bad at all....
with that said, I am glad you guys are being mature about it and not cruising with that group if you are not comfortable, rather than putting yourself and others through a "bad experience"....
OsK, do you know Mike Sturgie? He posted on the FB page that he and his friends will be cruising down from Chicago as well. He PM-ed on FB a while back, but I do not see that he has registered yet. Do you know him or if he is coming down as well?

Sorry! Maybe I exaggerated a bit. I'm fine with driving fast there, just not the weaving through traffic part to maintain speed.
Yes, I do know him. I'm in the Chicago Acura FB group; a good 5-7 people (including Mike) have said that they are game, but there hasn't been any detailed plans yet; will keep you posted
As of now, Brian and I have been talking about cruising down, until there's a plan for other people from Chicago.
I plan on making it to this meet. Who could I cruise down with coming from Wisconsin.
most of the Wisconsin folks usually sync up with the guys coming from Chicago...hit up Brian (brian6speed) and see what time and place would be a good meeting point and take it from there
