Best Dealership in D.C. Area?
So, so happy to be back in the Acura world with a 2014 TSX Sport Wagon. (My first car was an Integra.) It's been so long since we shopped around for service in the D.C. area but that's where we are now -- to be specific, in McLean, VA. The closest dealership is Radley Acura, but there are many others within spitting distance. The ones that come to mind are Chevy Chase Acura and Pohanka Acura. But for a good service experience, I'll likely drive further.
What do you guys think? What's the best Acura service organization in the D.C. metro area?

Seriously, dude? This thread is about the D.C. area. Who in the ever lovin' world would drive from northern Virginia to Mechanicsburg, PA for a regular check-up -- or, for that matter, for a serious repair? Too far.

Depending on your location in VA, I can recommend Crown Acura in Richmond. Best dealership I have dealt with in a long time. I am closer to Woodbridge, but like them better and gave them the sale.

any particular salesperson?
Just got baited and switched by radley trying to add a second destination charge at the end and they also mysteriously sold the car earlier today.
Tischer gave me a high price which is probably in line with rosenthal's (very expensive since close to most moco and dc residents). Chevy chase didn't want to budge when I bought my TL even on a damn loaner with 5,000 miles lol. Did you deal with eddie?

As far as service, Sam was the service advisor I preferred. He was great. Although I stopped going to the dealership once the warranty period ended.

I worked at Pohanka.
We generally had the best pricing and were willing to go down a lot of times and sell at a loss just to get the sale. Pohanka is the walmart of Acura and has claimed largest acura dealer in the world for the last 10 years. They apparently sell more new cars than any other acura dealer. The key is to come in at the end of a slow month, keep saying no, and eventually you'll get your price. It probably sounds like I'm vouching for them, but honestly idc lol.
As far as service, I don't trust any dealer any more than any regular shop so I can't really say much there. Pohanka does have loaner services and a decent waiting area... Jerry has been there like 15 years and is a great service advisor. I usually sent most of my clients to him.

I'm also looking for a DC area dealer. I'm picking up a used 2014 Acura MDX, out of warranty, and wanted to do a few things like get Navi update, and a few other things that only a dealer could do. Don't wanna get ripped by a bad dealer. Maybe I'll give Jerry a try at Pohanka. They aren't too far from my job, and the loaner cars would be nice.
