thanks, i sent for 20's they said it would clear my brembro's i will check the offset. I didn't lower it yet and judging from your story I probably won't. I was also look at a benz and small bmw but was convinced to just deck out the tl and probably look at a coupe. One last thing did you have a kit on, I was thinking of putting on a aspec kit also

I haven't been in this site in a few years, I sold my TL picked up a Porsche and BMW in the meantime.. The 20s fit fine on a tl as long as you get the correct wheel offset, width, and tire size. The tire size was 245/35-20 all around on 20x8.5 Wheels I believe the offset was about 40-45mm. It rode better stock and I regretted lowering it on eibachs. I had the rear fenders rolled at a rim/body shop to make sure the rear tires wouldn't rub with passengers over heavy dips, I had a heavy audio system in the trunk. My old wheels were custom modulare brand i bought at a discount. Hope this helps.
