Where do I find the D4 here in Bakersfield? Oh yea and I do run a 30wt. I use the mobile 1 extended performance. I was thinking bout doing the coolant and the power steering. Maybe on another weekend or so. My schedule is pretty hectic in which I don't really have a set schedule due to this new position that they put me at on my job. Fyi my car has 108000? I believe, but I gotta double check. But yea, I checked the status on my switches still not even close. I will give you a heads up when they are near.

Yeah, Ca. Use the D4, very easy choice. It has a much better base oil (POE Ester) a better additive package, and less friction modifier which will make it shift quicker and live a lot longer. The ester base oil is great for out hot climate especially if you don't have a cooler. DW-1 is closer to Dextron VI which is thinner which is not what we want for this climate. D4 is a Dextron III fluid which has a better viscosity for this area.

Also, for engine oil make sure to run a 30wt. I alternate between Redline 5w-30 and occasionally redline 0w-40 if I have some left over from the fiancées car. On a summer day here, that 30wt is as thin as a 20wt in most other areas of the country.

I've got plenty power steering fluid and if you want to buy a gallon of coolant from the dealer we can do the coolant too. It only takes about 15 minutes.

Have you heard anything good about the DW-1? I can hardly find any posts about it.

Oh 20% off? I just bought them yesterday from AcuraOemparts.com. Total came out to $91. I do need the atf though. Im deciding about the D4 or DW-1. I tried finding threads about the DW-1, but there aren't that many. My switches should be here by Friday.

Definitely, anytime just let me know when you want to swap the fluid and switches. I always order my Redline from Jegs and it's usually here in 2 days or less. Im going to be ordering some D4 and Type F in the next month, I can get some extra if you want. Superior Acura will give you 20% off the pressure switches if you ask, not sure if you bought them already.
