    yo what up man,
I was looking at ur pics of the HID fogs and they look really good. I just bought 4300Ks to match my stocks. What did you do to install them? I was reading through some threads but it didnt really help.

    Thanks for the help

Hey kdawg, thanks for getting back to me. I didn't do anything to keep the butterfly valve (TB) open, I just bolted the TB back and hooked up the TB cables. Was I supposed to do something different? And yes, in terms of how I hooked up the piping:
So if you're looking from above with the "A" emblem orientated as such, I plugged up the port near the IMRC motor on the left and hooked up the return hose from my catch can to the "L" port (my can is on the drivers side: so PCV to catch can to L port). BTW, could it be the PVC seal? the carb spray didn't say otherwise. The brake booster and vac lines (used 3-way connector to FPR vac line) were hooked up as well. I didn't leave anything unhooked it appears.

I used the P2R manifold gasket, TL (to spacer) gasket, and CLS TB gaskets and torque all to spec (per the service manual). Still boggled, but with such a big swing in RPM at idle (1000-3000) I must have some leak somewhere!

Now, I also got the bored TB from P2R...I swapped out the IACV...could a malfunctioning TPS cause any issues as well?

    Thanks for the help

    Hello,

I saw from the 09 TL manifold post that you had no problems after your manifold was installed. I have what I think is a major vac leak (up and down, 1000-2 or 3000 RPMs) but I can't put my finger on what the issue is. I saw in one of the posts that your IAT was left out into the engine bay. I'm still waiting on my new Comptech intake to arrive, so I have not yet relocated the IAT as well. Did you experience any idle issues after your install? And what type of gaskets did you use? P2R?

Thanks, I'm just curious if the IAT has anything to do with it.
