Tap in to the red wire that has a black stripe and two silver bands for positive lead and the black wire for negative on the radio harness.

Hi DeathMetal, Could you tell me from where did you power to the radio board/PCB? I'm doing by myself this project but don't know how feed my board.

Having trouble getting some LED's out the back of nav unit. Actually just the bottom row under the nav screen. Got the whole unit out and unscrewed all the lights but they won't pop out. Tried to get something underneath them but it's such an awkward placement/angle. Ever run into this problem? Suggestions?
