Hey i read your post about noise in your system. Anyways, i tried to help another member here with mercmans harness vs homemade harness and this is what i found inside his.

Im not sure what that is (cap/resistor?) but its soldierd between the inner and outer connections of the rca end. Im thinking this is what mercman intentionally omitted from his post as so far , i have not seen any homemade harness that works noise free.
