Hey man I saw your post about subs and was wondering if your still trying to figure stuff out. I don't have anything in my Acura but I have a Honda S2000 with a full custom Alpine setup. Everything from an Alpine headunit, 4 6.5" Type-R speakers, one 10" Type-R sub, and a Sony Xplode amp. The whole system is flat out amazing. I am a true Type-R fan and if your willing to spend the money its worth it IMO. My Honda will completely shake when I turn the sub up to 6 (it goes to 15...) and even on the lowest settings it has a nice clear thump. The stock TL system is great but not many I've heard have compared to mine. A friend of mine has a full Type-S setup and it sounds great in itself. Does your car have the full Nav/ sound system and all? If so you have a 8" sub and the stock one in mine is honestly enough for me. Just tune it and turn the sub up a touch.
