I didn't mean that I don't understand why you do it. It is a very noble thing to do & I am sure it must be a very gratifying career. I just ment that I do not understand why some of the local governments pay so little. I am not even in that field & I feel insulted for the men & women who lay their lives on the line everyday to ensure the safety of the public. To me that should be handsomely rewarded- in every state. I think its crazy that a job like my husbands pays more than our local law enforcment does. Hes hardworking yes, however there is absolutely no risk involved. Seems backwards to me. Re-reading my post I could see it was very vague as I did not specify, didn't want to give the impression that idk why you personally do it lol.

Depending on how Hyundai responds to my issues, I might be picking up a new Honda Fit Sport as a replacement as I want something versatile but fuel efficient, especially since gas in heading back towards $4 per gallon.
