A guy on the forum told me you might be able to help. I've got a '00 TL, close to 200k. Have had two transmission rebuilds, last one was about 20,000 miles ago (about a year) . Other than that, seems to run pretty well. Until a couple of days ago.

Had a power loss event while on cruise at about 70mph. Lasted about 2 seconds. No CEL lights or anything, just lost a couple thousand RPM, then magically regained and everything was fine for the next 30 miles when I pulled into my garage.

Same exact thing happened today while on cruise, about 15 miles from home. This time I noticed the green "D5" indicator on the console dimmed and went out at the same time. But a second later, all was back to normal and it didn't throw any codes. I didn't notice any other electrical issues when this happened.

Thought maybe the ignition switch could cause it but now I'm wondering, since the D5 light went out, that the trans is having trouble again.

Ever seen that happen?
