Hi, I managed to hack my nav screen wallpaper and get rid of the nag screen, but I have the AD modded file and would like to change "Loading..." to something else. I checked out navi.exe in a hex editor but couldn't find that text to change.

Then I ran across this post of yours:

"I have to give AD credit for starting this but on his forums he stated how you can't change "AD" as it's part of the programing. I found that rather arrogant so I changed it out of spite."

I know it's been a while, but how did you find the text in the file to change, if you don't mind my asking? I'm currently on version 3.3-something, orange disk, binary file is BN2HH12C.BIN. I don't care so much about the AD but I want to do some custom text up top.

I saw your instructions that you posted about burning the acura navigation DVD. You said you used two different DVD burners with the same results, so I'm assuming you have already successfully been able to upgrade your Nav. What year is your TL and did you upgrade it to 4.73? I'm currently downloading the 4.73 torrent now. I've already successfuly done this before when i upgraded my 07 TL to 4.63 but there were step by step instructions with it and don't fully remember how to do it. I've been using my burned 4.63 for the past year now with no problems and would like to upgrade. I do remember using ImgBurn and used a verbatim at 2.4x but don't remember any other details that I did. Any input is appreicated, thanks!

Not acura meets, no. There is going to be an AZine meet in Panama City the last weekend in April. There are some other local meets with some of the younger crowd that I check out from time to time if you are interested.
