Got a decent 'package' price on floor mats, cargo cover, cargo liner, splash guards and rear bumper applique - 50+% off retail and no installation charges. I'm sure it didn't cost the dealer anything but it did save me something. In total I improved on their original offer by about $3K.

I don't think you'll get them to throw in remote start since it's $400 for parts alone plus a couple hours of install time.

Just curious, what kind of quote did they give you? When I tried early on it was basically we won't commit to anything until you come in and it will depend on whether we have it or not. I ended up going with a different dealer just because there attitude was better.

I understand what you're saying about buying this time of year. My last car I bought in mid-Nov. Beside the weather being so bad you can't do anything with it within a couple of days it looks like crap inside and out and looses the 'new car' feel right away. Much prefer buying after March.

Located in the Mt. Clemons area. So far really liking the RDX. As you've probably read it has a few first model year warts but nothing that makes me think twice about buying it - and certainly not as bad as some of the forum members like to rant about. Lots of fun and the SH-AWD really works well.

If you're looking for a deal they may be hard to come by. When I was looking back in July NOBODY was dealing. I managed to up the trade value of my old ride by about $2500 and got a few 'goodies' thrown in but absolutely no movement on price at all. In my watching the local inventories it looks like AcuraofTroy has the most vehicles so they may be willing to talk more than others. Won't hurt to go to their web site and get an 'on-line quote'.
