I made FLAC's of all the multi-channel content I had when I first got he RDX and yes, it's quite time consuming. Then, when the system kept crapping out during playback, I have lost interest and rarely play the stuff in my car. It'll play the music just fine one time then view the files as unreadable the next time or start plat playback then resort tot he high pitched squelch and then skip to the next song.

For Blurays, I used MakeMKV which worked most of the time and then to decode that, I use AudioMUX to create the FLAC files. That works pretty good.

Now Acura needs to fix the system!

For the last few weeks i have been building a library of 5.1 DTS from Blue Ray concerts and the "Inside the Music DVD's" and wanted to ask if you have done the same and see what your luck has been converting yours tuff as mines been VERY time consuming!

Also i wanted to share a private board which i believe the admin there is the guy who started the DVD-A thread - its a closed community its a bit challenging trying to figure it out. https://www.quadraphonicquad.com

The software i have been using is:
EAC - Not real useful for me
Make MVK - works about 80% of the time for step #1
FFMPEG Help - Found from the other forum - works about 75% of the time for step #2
Tag&Rename - works really well for step 3
Foobar - Works really good for step #4

Have you ripped many BD disks? Also could you let me know what content you have that sounds the best so far and how time consuming the process is for you?

Yep.. left Acura after the debacle with the TLX. Might come back to an RDX or MDX one day.. maybe

Hey Brew, yeah, I am very happy with the 12 after driving the 08 base for a few years. The car is just too cool! I am still contimplating the audio system.
