Hi, I'm in the market for wheels & saw you have the 18" Enkei RPF01 on your CL. My question is with the combination of the 235/40 tire & 18" wheel size, did you have any problem with the tire protruding beyond the fender? Plus, did you lower your car's suspension with either Eibach or Tein lowering springs? If yes, did that resulted in some rubbing of the tire's OD against the insides of the fender well (particularly the front tires)? Would appreciate very much your input on this. :-)
I saw you were interested in a 3.5 crankshaft for a build. I have one from a 2004 odyssey. roughly 44,000 miles. It came from a rear impacted odyssey from a junkyard. I was gong to do 3.5 as well, but I think I'm going to go a different route. I can provide pics of it if you want. Feel free to make an offer or trade.
They are from a vendor on this site called Supercomputer. He made a bunch for various models...auto and manual. Check the Sponsored Vendor section here and see if they still make them.
nf: there should be two flat head plastic bolts that you just turn counter clockwise, and they'll pop up enough for you to remove. Looking at my engine cover pic in my album, you can see there's another piece that needs to come off to the left of the 3.2 ACURA part. There is a black circle...get a flat head under that and pop it up. Also, the engine cover might have to be off first, then the 3.2 part, then the part to the left of that.
