Basic Wheel Fitment Question 2016 ILX

Was wondering if yall could help me out. I'm looking to swap
out my 2016 A-spec wheels and which wheel size would look best. Wheels would be Works Kiwami, I'm not really looking to lower car and want to use the 225/40/18 tires.

18x7.5 off37
18x7.5 off38
18x8.5 off47
18x8.5 off38

Thanks

18x8.5 +38

The 7.5 would be extremely similar to factory spec. 8.5 would be a nice inch increase. Tire shop should be able to use the same size tire still with a nice little stretch.
Good choice in wheels.

Here are some photos of my Enkei Raijins 18x8.5 35 offset, stock height, to help you make your decision but I do agree with usdmJON.

Thanks Jspangan, are you running the stock 225/40/18 tires? Any issues at all?

No issues at all, looks great, and rides great. going from 7.5 to 8.5 will stretch the tire out a bit but no harm done. not super low profile but i think its perfect.

Great to here! Those raijins looking pretty clean as well. I saw them while looking for wheels but wasn't really feeling the design on other cars but seeing them on yours changes my mind.

Lol, my bad usdmJON. I saw your reply in my e-mail and only saw the 18x8.5 +38 and didn't see the rest. Sorry if this is a dumb question but is there a huge difference in .5 inch wheel width? For example how would 18x8 +35 end up looking?

lol No worries.

The wheel wouldn't be as closer to the fender as the ILX posted above.

My wheels are 18x8 +38. I wish they were 8.5 to start but that doesnt matter much as I'll be rebuilding to 9.5 at least.

I see exhaust tips in one of the pics, is that just the tips or aftermarket one ?

Some 18" x 8" with a 32mm offset would fit great too and provide with some extra meat for protection since the tires aren't so stretched. Also, the RonJon Legacy wheels are hubcentric and IMO have a more aggressive look with the concave drop center profile. Give me a call and I'll hook you up in exchange for pics...
