I am getting a brief grind when starting in the cold, will bring it up with my dealer at the next service.

I get the same thing when it's really cold out. I thought it was my down pipe, but I guess not.

that doesnt sound like a rattle, but more of a grind?

VTC actuator. Common issue on MANY Honda's with the I4. TSX, Accord, etc. all have this issue, look it up. No fix.
