Very nice buddy, I was in a premium '16 and test drove it. I love love love the initial start up. Reminds me of the G37 exhaust growl. Put that baby in S mode and hear her scream!

Kind of wish I had a '16 instead of '15 now :p

Honestly the lights sold me first, should have been there last year. 2.4 with the 8 speed dct certaily helped too.

aspec2016...With all due respect, look at the number of posts I have here, the number of thanks I receive and ask any members on Acurazine....I am far from being a troll.

Put yourself in our shoes...we come to a photo section, see a thread with no explanation and we are left wondering "Where are the photos?" We could have ALL helped you post a pic if all you needed was our help...I wasn't aware that you were trying to upload and couldn't.

Now that we are back at being respectful with each other....I will say that you have a gorgeous ILX! I have a 2014 model (also white) and I must say that this color really highlights the beautiful lines of the vehicle. While I wasn't a fan of the A-Spec wheels at first, they are growing on me.

DO you like the red cluster interior or would have prefer the classic white on black cluster? I am not sure I would like the red....maybe from my earlier days of owning Pontiac and their red clusters?

Finally..Glad to see your 8 DCT is behaving much better than those with the TLX....Maybe there is hope for Acura after all

My sincere apologies... i started that thread and i must have tried 10 times to upload that darn pic! Thanks i really like the car a lot. As far as the gauges i really would have preferred the classic white on black maybe with a choice of colored backlighting. (im 99% sure the civic si had that option at one time didnt they?) The 8spd ... i was nervous but its been flawless.
This site has proven to be a wealth of information. Take care.
Btw thanks for putting that Pontiac cluster vision in my head..scarred forever lol

^^ *LMAO* No, it was started as a joke because for the longest time, i wasn't quite sure what I was going to get as a replacement for my TL (2012) when the dealer bought it back from me in the fall. I spent the entire winter car researching, testing and exploring what to get this spring.

My heart was sent on the TLX (SH-AWD) but the issues with the transmission and some other initial glitches game me some concerns and I was hoping that Acura would come out with a solution but it doesn't appear to be the case.

I then considered getting an ILX (2016) but we have one already (2014) so while the changes are quite significant, the body style is still too much alike to make me get one. I feel that after the initial 2-3 months, the excitement of the new car will subside.

Next on my list was the IS350 Fsport because of the Lexus reliability but put things on hold when the weather was just horrible here and gave up on owning a new car....but then the itched started again now that the weather is on the upswing....so the IS is my garage now


Thanks for not holding my post against me...I wasn't trying to be rude and I just misunderstood your situation but I welcome you to Acurazine and look forward to hearing your comments and posts about your ILX.

I agree that the 16' ILX is quick off the line from the lights ;D I'm in love with the 2.4 8 DCT that comes with it, but I wanted the v6 with the 8DCT (it really be a rocket) for the ILX but too bad they don't offer that!

2016 Premium (no need for Navi) love the new lights Trans and Engine the ACC LKAS is weird but a cool feature, quieter than the 14 and louder at the same time screaming around the corners
