Congrats on the car! Sweet ride. How does it drive? I'd esp. like to hear about the 8 speed DCT.

How was it drilling holes in your brand new bumper?
I remember doing it myself at home and feeling rather apprehensive since there are so many (like 7 or so) holes you need to cut in 'just' the right position for the front and rear Aero kits to mount properly.
As far as mods. I'd highly-HIGHLY recommend the following.
Lighting:
Morimoto: T10 LED bulbs for the two license plate lights
: 921 VisionLED's for the reverse lights
H11 VisionLED Fog lights.
By far the best 3 lighting mods you'd EVER do to your '16 ILX and it'll definitely complete the car's LED lighting system for all but the rear turn signals (PM me for more info on that)
You can ask Waldo87 about it because he just picked up those very bulbs (sans Reverse Lights), and can vouch for every dollar spend on them.
I myself would say the best thing you could do handling wise is pick up a (or maybe even the '15 Si 20mm OEM) rear sway bar, as it'll sort out almost all of the '16 ILX's handing draw backs, and give it a much better neutral feel.
The link above is for the kit that has both the front and rear sway bar. The rear can be installed at home with basic hand tools in about 1.5-2.5hrs tops. The front requires dropping the subframe and needs a lift/shop. But at least you can do the rear at home to save on time/labor when you choose to install the front.
PM me if you have any questions regarding the lighting or sway bar setups, I'm always happy to give away free information and help to those who are willing to listen.

I don't know if you can talk about it, but how great of a deal did you get lol? 4k off msrp?
As an Acura tech, can you say anything else good about the engineering or performance of the DCT?

Yeah dude those Philips fogs are beast. For a few weeks they were going as cheep as $122 a pair on Amazon. Now they are back to about $140. Still a steal. Even at full retail of $199 they are still the best LED fog bulbs period.

I would be really interested in seeing the final stage of your TL and GSR before you let them go. I too came from an Integra. An LS though.
If I was you Id contact Mike about what coilovers he used and see if you can pick some up.

Hi, car looks great!
does the front bumper really have to come off to install the front spoiler?
i wanted to install it myself but really dont want to take the bumper off, do you think this can be installed by just removing the under side ?

Yes front/rear bumper HAS to be removed to install aero kit, holes has to be drilled using a step drill bit

Here you go I had to replaced the heater box myself on my brand new ILX my ac wasn't work cause the evaporator was leaking wasn't lined up properly, I was demanding a new car but of course Acura wants the attempt of it fixed 1st
My dash I had to pull out
