So today I got my tpms sensors off my CCW . Tomorrow I'll be trading wheels for other 3 piece wheels. I'll post pics when I get some high def pics taken

So I did get featured on Acura pages again but the person who took the pic got salty since they removed his watermark on the corner of the picture and had the pic removed 😔 So my 2nd picture got removed but I did take a quick screenshot when it happened so I have proof lol
I also got a new set of wheels I traded for my ccw.
I'm now on 18x9.5 , 18x10.5 Brada BR1 wheels with a 215/35 up front and 225/35 in the rear. Here's a pic I took today with my phone. If you want to see pics of my car just join me on snapchat @jorge_tsx

The Brada are nice...good contrast but I think I liked the CCW better...
Plus, I have a friend that is going through some real bullshit with that company that makes me not like them at all.

LMAO!!! I could have sworn I saw you get another feature while browsing IG quickly on a break or something. I went back on later to check it out and couldnt find it anywhere.
Kind of lame of Acura to cut out the watermark. Tisk tisk Acura.
Brada's look sweet. Any close ups of the wheel? My only issue with black faces are how hard it is to make out any features. Oh boy would that sound horrible out of context! hahaha

Some BS with a 4th wheel...not showing up from fedex and nobody taking accountability...then now waiting for a while for center caps...supposedly waiting 6 months for the finished wheel.

Yeah it was there but the guy who took my pic kept spamming my fb page and instagram and kept tagging acura to remove the pic. Then he messaged them on fb to get it taken down or he'll do legal shit. Im like whatever dude its not a big deal its not like I got the HQ picture he gave me a shit copy of it since he did the rig shot for free and it took about an hour to setup.
Anywho back to the wheels, they are black cherry finish & the specs are +40 up front and its like flush with the fender
rears are +32 with like 2mm clearence from the strut in the back hitting the barrel of the wheel so I wouldnt recommend running a 10.5 with a -5 camber in the back like me lol
I haven't taken close up pics of the wheels but they are on google just search brada br1

Yeah I loved them too but the faces were too small for the car. They were 17" faces stepped lip to 18"
If they were 18" faces stepped to 19" I wouldve kept them.
Btw they were fully polished thats why they looked that shiny. Almost like chrome! Lol
DANG! One of the cleanest ILX. I've yet to see many modified examples roaming the streets.
Also, I might work for VMR but I have a soft spot for CCW. My TSX was most seen on my old LM20s with 24k faces. Still kinda miss those wheels!

Thanks man. Yeah the ccw were nice but I needed something bigger it made the car look big cause the wheels were step lip. But I do miss the CCW.

Yeah i remember how deeply stepped the lips were on those wheels. It was hard to find replacements when I replaced the barrels!

Really clean look man. Nice lip depth It's probably 2.5 or 3 inches or so? man you guys really make me want to buy wheels even tho I'm just trying hold off on that for a while now... LOL... I'm a big fan of teal/ electric blue like that too. That color just makes me happy. Seriously. I wear Tshirts that color a lot, and my car Fusa is teal.

Yes it is, maybe is because the front bumper has those curves and what not. This lip reminds me of the 06+ TSX aspec lip and the TL lip kit as well.

Thanks man, but that's a bit too aggressive wheel width for my tastes. It looks great, but I want to pretend I'm building a functional car. LOL. Plus, yea... 19's all the way man. Personally I'd go 19x8.5 square for easy fitment, easy to find a lot of wheels. But really I'd want 19x9 for best looks, sporty driving.
I been doing some research, even the Euro Civic Type R had 19" Honda OEM Accesory wheels/ upgrade wheels.

Also the updated Accord Sport and the Touring have 19's stock. I mean it's an Acura, suppose to look nicer then the regular Honda badge. I know the Accord is slightly bigger body, and the Type R puts down more power, but still.... I'd feel weird upgrading to 18's, and then the Accord and Civic would still have bigger wheels. And it's not bigger then the updated ILX, just the same. Guess I have wheel envy. I have to one up, haha

Hey man also....Not trying to thread jack, but maybe you (or others) would be into this, since I see you've been going for some nice wide wheels...And since you got the front A-spec lip piece on... I think there are some added pieces that can add some OEM-ish looking style
I have a couple small dings, one on each side of my rear wheel archs. hater marks. I added some small about half inch thick wheel arch protectors, that I got from the dealer... And then I was like... Damn that looks good... And random people ask me about it, compliment me on it. It looks pretty OEM... so then I was like hmmm... Fender flares... but I think that would be a bit too aggressive for my build...
BUT..
The Fender Arch over our wheels is pretty much the same size/same thing as the 8th Gen and 9th gen Civics....
These are Feel's over fenders (the black part on the wheel arch), for the 8th Gen Civic. Not crazy looking, or super aggressive like some real fender flares. But enough where they widen it out quite noticeably... These are unpainted tho, just used the pic for obvious reference. They look much better color-matched, obviously. I found some rep one's on Ebay, but all I can really find are called "Mugen RR fender flares"... They appear to more or less the same shit... Except POSSIBLY the rear ones are a bit longer, and the little extra longer piece is made to fit over the rear Mugen lip piece... But I mean the bumpers on our cars match up to the body slightly different anyway, so we'd have to place them whichever way works best...
Here's a 9th Gen Civic with what appears to be the same fender flares. As you can see, It looks like he may have cut them shorter. But they don't look stupid, or out of place. This is about a half circle where the normal one would go around the full arch
I also found a Canadian website, Kplayground.com... They got a bunch of stuff I want to see others try
I want to buy these in acrylic to match my visors... and then mod them to fit....
Kplayground makes them in carbon, too. If someone has an A-spec kit and wants to try it.... it would probably match better in carbon. They also make universal carbon rear under /bottom diffusers that fit on TSX and Civics... Can't see why that wouldn't fit us ILX'ers... And full carbon race car/GT style wings....Would probably look pretty good with A-spec kits if you wanna go full#because race car look...
I also want to buy and mod to fit this Feels side skirt piece
And then some hood vents to match the ILX endurance race cars
Just adding/ improving upon whats already in the body-lines/ what's already there...

OK...I mean maybe not MOST of that stuff... But i think at least the Feel's over fenders would match pretty well on the Aspec kits. The front lip comes up really high on the bumper, so if you rotate the circle more towards the Skirt it might fit perfect as is... Or even be too long, might have to trim it a tiny bit to fit it flush... But then thats extra pieces to add to fit on the rear... I'm gonna try it... can't look worse then some dings...
