It is separate. If you look at the previous gen grill that part is more "connected" to the hood/front of the car. When they redid the headlights/grill they made both larger which took away the body paneling that connects right there.

On another note, you can try just calling a Canadian Dealer. Right now I'm trying to order a CDM OEM front hood deflector. YES! I called one dealer at random, basically the closest one. Although the parts guy was kind of short with me, he was straight to the point. Maybe he thought i was prank calling or something? I just need a money order. I'm semi busy to get it right now, but I'll probably order it within the next few days-weeks.

They have other cool stuff that's CDM specific too... like CHROME Mirror covers....

I tried calling a few dealerships but they didn't know what I was talking about. Said they had to 'call Acura of Canada' and get back to me... never did...

I feel for you bro! Someone rear ended me last month! Less than 8000km. Yours is even probably less. I had to replace the bumper, trunk garnish, and Re-BAR. What was the damage on your car? Hopefully just the rear-bumper.

Thanks bro. Mine is less than 3000km. So far the shop only quoted the rear bumper but for sure there will be more damaged parts behind the bumper, dude hit me pretty hard. Still driving around with damaged rear bumper. Repair will start on the 18th.

I bought a pair of them on eBay for $70. It came from Canada. Try searching Acura emblem. I think it's even a by cheaper now. There's a best offer option.

I purchased these A-Spec emblems from Ebay seller (bearsauto). It was a quick install as well. I clay barred the surface and then wiped it clean with isopropyl alcohol. They come with templates for proper alignment on the fenders.
